QTR mile is just not that important to me as I buy, build, mod, for different reasons so it is only one more measuring stick but with less importance to me than to others, which is cool of course.

I did run my Matrix turbo once, I was great at reaction times but no grip off the line on road race tires and wind blowing sand on the track.

Reaction times in order, won a trophy my kids made me go get from the officials.

Trap with that ET.

I do not recall the 60 ft time

------------

My Forester XT, Pro Solo autocross practice using a tree.

60ft, 1.6 seconds, not bad for a brick on autocross tires.

I took second in SM class and got a standing ovation for my time:)

I have to admit... My car went from basically neutral to "kinda scarey" in about 3 days...
The Fiesta will never be "kinda scary" with the stock size turbine. You're hyping the shit out of this thing.

Although I guess it's all relative, however didn't you say you had a 400hp+ SRT4?. "kinda scary" is 120mph+ traps

120 is your run of the mill car around here lol. My '12 5.0 trapped 118 with an intake and tune, and that was fun, but far from scary.. Scary is a 140+ trap car in a car that was never meant for it lol

Yea 120 is "slow" here too. However I was stating "kinda scary" which, like you said, depends on the car.

Well if you don't sell this, can I have it! Cuz 20psi past 4500 would be awesome at the track! :)

I have full bolt ons (so stage3 I guess) on an e30 tune and its fun but needs this upgrade! Right now I lose traction on a slow roll in 2nd and 3rd. I have a feeling your car probably lights up the tires until red line lol

A couple weekends ago I watched a Lamborghini do 218 mph in a standing half mile, at 2320 feet. I watched that same Lamborghini do 223 near sea level two months ago. All of your cars, including mine, are slow. Stop bickering and just have fun developing and watching.

A few comments here are a bit out of line, let's chill out, we are supposed to be having fun here, no need for school yard bickering, posturing, or bringing up cars that are built for any purpose other than bragging rights and and not much use for anything about actually driving it as a car.

I don't think this is bickering, I think this is people wanting to see some form of dyno evidence to get an idea of where this setup currently stands, and despite V-Dyno being free it's just a constant excuse. Data-logging is free, V-Dyno is free, and there are numerous V-Dyno examples currently to make a generalized comparison.

Yes, we understand that the setup is not 100%. Yes, we understand that further tuning will show better gains. No, there's no reason to attack us or tell us to 'set up the dyno appointment' when we aren't asking for anything that costs money out of pocket.

SS is literally one pid away from logging information that can be shared and show us just how 'scary' this setup is, yet-as always-we're the bad people for wanting the information. Worst sales-pitch ever. This could be a legitimate solution for some members-we just want to see some solid information.

He went to the Dyno once already for a baseline... But that's not enough for you guys? Let the man lay the groundwork. Sheesh...😒

I started this thread and my intent is to help others find a way, SS started the process, I would not of gone this route without him, to find more power for a decent price, real world usable power most of the time instead of spending money on power available little of the time to make the car simply more fun, which a nice wide powerband will do for the intended design of this car.

We can skip the super car, fastest drag car, etc...stuff, or keep it to a minimum, if you want to focus just on that please start or add to another thread.

Since the Fiesta ST is built as a drivers car for far more than going in a straight line and it can be scary fast doing what it was built to do even stock in the right circumstances, adding more power will only make it more so.

SO, we are talking about a way to improve an already great car, mine is not even tuned yet and far more satisfying, others will greatly benefit from knowing they can go this route, lets keep it on topic.

Thanks,
Rick

Why must all of your posts contain a story of how great you are? We already understand, you tell us all the time.

Still in out of curiosity, though clearly not for data. I still think this can be a feasible option for some.

Maybe some of you have not been in his shoes so you cannot fully understand what he is going through while working to make something great for an excellent price for many that simply cannot afford or not willing to spend a bunch of money on what may or may not fit their needs, etc.......many aspects to consider as we all have different ideas of what we want out of this.

Father of 4 very young children.
50% custody
Full time job
Paying support
Having to move
Developing this solution

I highly doubt many, if any, of you are even close to dealing with what he is in your life, now or ever, or have ever developed anything as he is doing.

Consider this and then consider your actions here, you might want to show a bit more appreciation and patience, or go do this yourself, under the more idea conditions to achieve anything as serious as this and not get a bit offended by some of the comments made here.

Many great things said of course but all the negative comments are not helping make this happen, they are making it harder for him to do this.

There is a line between constructive recommendations and bashing, whining, complaining, etc....a very simple concept and many posts are simply out of line and they need to stop, now.
