It's no problem. That's what a forum is for. But yes those are the specs. There's a 42 offset too but I wanted a little bit more of a poke. And they're wrapped in 225/45 if curious.
I love the look of your car with the meatier tire. I live in south Florida and some of the streets here are horrible. Looking for a taller tire that will make the ride better. Thanks again

If you have not thought about this the more weight you add and the further out you place it the more performance in all areas and ride comfort you will lose and the difference can be very considerable. Ask yourself this, did you buy the car to drive or to get looked at, if to drive they go smaller diameter like 15 or 16, save the weight, put on really good tires, gain in all areas, acceleration, braking, cornering grip, ride, fuel mileage, less wear on the chassis, less chance of damaged rims, almost always costs less up front and for new tires as needed.

Rick I've been wondering this and I'm sure others have - are there any advantages to having a large (relative; e.g. 17 or 18" on our cars) diameter wheel? I'm excluding looks from this as it is so subjective - though it's a large factor for most of us, tastes and preferences vary.

A smaller wheel provides all of those advantages you listed above, because generally speaking a smaller diameter wheel is lighter and the wider aspect ratio tire provides a bit more cushion. Plus we all love paying less for things.

A larger wheel would have a shorter tire side wall to fit the overall wheel+tire diameter, which I would think would provide better lateral traction but is that even true? Are there any objective benefits? Can a small, wide wheel (15x8) outperform the OEM size 17x7 in every regard? Can the same be said for equal width wheels e.g. 15x7 vs 17x7?

Specifically speaking about 15" wheels - is there any objective disadvantage to them? The only thing I can think of is that with less clearance around the front brakes they might not cool as effectively and either warp rotors sooner or possibly fade with heavy useage, though I'm guessing you use yours a lot more than I use mine as you race so I'll defer to what you experience.

Which color is this? The flat black? Or the chromium black? Have been interested in these ways but wanted to see if they still maintained a "concave" look in our smaller width and offset. Do you have any other pics? Looks great on the white.

These are matte black. I will post up some additional pics tomorrow. It is slightly concaved which is the look I like on a multi spoke wheel.
