Sorry buddy, if you check the drag race thread the fastest trap time the x-37 has on these forums is a trap speed of like 108mph. Trap speed on a stock GT is 112mph. Lbs/HP has a lot to do with it, but so does gearing. Both cars trap speeds should give you an inclination of what these cars can do in a race, but also don't forget that at least here in North America, there isn't even 1 X-37 FiST putting down 300whp even on E-30 & Meth. It's a great little turbo, but let's not make it out to be more than what it is. A hybrid stock location turbo that makes good power with very good spool. All the turbo most on his forum may ever need, but it's not gonna make the FiST into a muscle car beating drag machine. I'm done, as you were.

I don't know anyone with a v8 muscle car so really I don't care lol as long as I can beat v6 2005 mustang and stock frs.

The FiST with the X37 isn't a rocket ship, but it definitely takes the car to a very respectable power/performance per dollar level. Who can perhaps match what it provides (besides another reputable hybrid builder) for the $1200 to purchase the turbo?

Not mention you can get both a great uprated stock frame turbo and tune all from under one roof. Although the X37 won't by itself make you able to talk trash to more seriously focused performance cars, it will definitely surprise the SHIT out of quite a few unsuspecting gear heads...lol. A sssssslleeeeeper [sleep] makes it more fun IMO anyhow

This will give you some idea of what to expect with a full bolt on and stock fueling X37 running an E30 tune. Plenty quick, but it likely won't pull on a new model V8 pony car.

I only have 93 available :(
93 is fine, and the way the power comes on and how it stays on is what makes the X37 so enjoyable. I wasn't tuned for 93 but Adam gave me a "safe" 93 tune file just in case I ever needed to run it.

Well turns out one day while mixing E30 at the pump I zoned out while taking a work call and filled up with 93 only. Even on a safe 93 tune file, the car felt way more lively than it did on the stock turbo.

Get what you really want though, and be real with yourself about your expectations. If you want big top end power numbers (over 300 whp), don't get the X37. If you want a really fun and ridiculous value hybrid with great tuning to match, the X37 is where it's at for the moment.

Yeah I'm not too worried about it. I'm not a drag racer and I almost never see a car willing to race. I'm sure an x37 would be awesome for me.

I'm very real about my expectations when eventually going with this turbo. I don't expect to be the fastest car on the road. What I do expect is to surprise a lot of people with a little FiST with a stock (appearance wise) turbo and an intake and turbo back. I'll more than likely run a 93 tune the majority of the time for mpg and convenience due to the fact the only e85 station around me is 35-40 miles away. I'd like to have a tune for both in case I want to run e30 for occasional extra excitement or at the track or something. But a 260+ whp sub 2600 lbs Fiesta is plenty quick enough to surprise a lot of people during the day to day commute, have a ton of fun, and still knock down pretty good mpg. Well worth the price of admission IMO.

Yeah that's all I want. Something that will surprise people (mustang owners). If only I could actually find people who want to fricken race! My day to day commute has pretty much no "fast" cars except old guys driving mustang gt's or young kids driving v6 mustangs lol. But at least I'll be faster than my friends' cars lol.

I've surprised a couple people already with my current mods, I can only imagine another 60 or so wheel hp give or take. It would be insane. It would be quick enough to pull on most mustangs you see that are stock or bolt on pre coyote years I would think. Excluding the terminator of course. Mach1 stangs are pretty mean with bolt ons if done right. v6 stangs pre 3.7 aren't even in the conversation unless they're heavily modded. I love how most people are unfamiliar with power to weight ratio. They don't realize a 300 hp FiST can walk a 400 hp 4000+ lbs charger because the weight of the two cars don't seem to enter their mind. It's the old sleeper appeal and surprise factor haha.

Yeah, a lot of people don't put into account the weight of the vehicle. That's why horsepower sells cars lol.

I drove around a little tonight and it feels like the car has kind of woken up compared to when I got it. idk what the dealer put in it for gas but about 100 miles ago I filled up with 93. I don't know if it's just in my head but it feels a little more responsive and torquey. I can't wait until I get my tune from Tune+.... Hell I think even the OTS tune from Cobb when I buy the AP will be fun for me....

For me, only difference I felt was stock to stage 1. After that it was all whatever, now that I got the x37 it's definitely changed the car all together. Idk it shifts better lol and it pulls like a frieght train and we just started tuning. I'm running into a lot of issues with my car but the 37 is a beast of a turbo.

I can almost gaurentee they filled it up with 87...
100% ^ Mine had 3 miles on the odo and the gas light was on when I got in to test drive it. 87 was what the dealer wanted to put in during our test drive, and I wouldn't let him! I told him that I would pay for the damn tank and not to ruin the car with 87...lol.

As some have noticed the site has been set to sold out. However I do have ONE left that will be available when the last 5 arrive. They are already being built and hope can ship back to me next week.

If you want the ONE that is left please email info@adamtuned.com

I don't follow this thread much anymore because I can only deal with so much crying from non-customers. If you are a customer, you know how to get ahold of me.
