Thanks! Mine is out for delivery'
Let us know how it goes, lol. Some of us think it was fairly easy, others well...not so easy. The biggest pita of mine was relocating my cc which was no fault of the intake and I also have a strut brace, so that also got in the way. If your picky like me, you will add the elbow and maybe a little splash shield, lol.

I think I'll go for a hyrdo pre-filter, but that's probably it. Since Haveblue included his elbows, I'm definitely using them.

Somethings wrong. Made it to Saginaw with no problem but now the car wont start. It started ok and I heard the turbo flutter, then it died.

The car should start without the intake on, but check all the connections. Has it been raining?

Well, shit... Check your oil and coolant levels, and coolant temp. Wish there was a transmission fluid dip stick.

Did the car start running rough and stumble before shutting off or was it an abrupt or sudden shutdown? What does it do when you try to start it....assuming your oil, coolant, etc are good...?

All levels are good. Everything is plugged in and in 1 piece. The wierd thing is was that the bov did not sound when I went to shift, but a strong flutter, the a cough and sputter then dead.

Could be the fuel. Did you check your fuses to make sure it didn't pop one? Just going through the easy stuff first. Since you drove for a while after the intake install, I don't see it being related to that unless something got pinched, burned or rubbed raw or lose by the intake or something moved during the install. The only other variable is the gas you got.

I thought the car would run with or without the maf plugged in. Of course it wouldn't like it ... Of course... If its shorted together ( not just unplugged) then that could be a much bigger issue.
