I don't like that the TPMS does not tell you which tire is low.

There's 2 things that bothered me about the car.
1. Where the lock button position is.. and how there's not any toggle locks or whatever on the actual doors.. I've gotten more used to it, but I hate when someone is trying to get in my car and I have to push the lock/unlock button like 3 times before they can actually open the door.
2. The bolt pattern.. 4x108 makes it near impossible to find a wheel style I prefer. I'm not saying there isn't good wheel choices in a 4x108, but it would have been so much easier for a 4x100.

I'll eventually get over the lock/unlock button, but as far as the bolt pattern, ughh fml. I'll eventually find some wheels.

There is a reasonable cost solution to 4x108 issues, swap to 4x100, one of our members has a great service and prices on it:)

I did it before he started offering it locally and paid much more as a one off at my local machine shop.

I run 15x9 track wheels, 13lbs, roll formed, $124 each.....incredible deal and why I made the change.

Then I changed to BBK front and rear and never used the rotors I had drilled.

I've been driving an old car for awhile, so my complaints may be about newer cars in general.

1. I don't like the heat/air controls. I feel like I shouldn't have to take my eyes off the road to turn on the rear defrost, ac, etc, but I do. I miss the slide selector and the knob setup, though the specificity is probably better with newer setups. But what ever it's distracting.

2. I don't understand how anyone can use the touchscreen while driving. Again, loss of focus. I should learn the voice commands better, but I really don't use either and don't feel like I'm missing anything.

3. Turning on the rear wiper, I always get it right in the third guess.

4. Useless storage hole below the radio. I want to make it more useful.

Driving dynamics, performance...no complaints at all. turning radius is a bit wide I guess.

Looking at all my complaints, maybe I'm just dumb lol.

The Nav is my biggest annoyance, goes north when it needs to go south, tries to take me through buildings, lllllaaaaaaaaaggggggggssssss like crazy.

The hvac controls as mentioned are impossible to use without looking down at them and the voice controls are time consuming to go through all the prompts.

From a driving standpoint my biggest gripe is the dead steering, there's no feedback at all imo. Drove a buddies SVT Focus recently and it was incredible the amount of feel in the steering. Electric steering sucks, unless it's a Honda S2000, I don't know how they did it but that car has superb feel while being electric assist, other need to take note.

WOW - I literally have NO complaints over this car. Sure, like any other car, there are some minor irritants, but for such a low price entry point, I guess my expectations weren't overly inflated beyond its stock presentation.

For giggles, in comparing it to my '08 $80k 2LZ C6ZO6:

- the Recaro seats are FAR more comfortable than the Z's cardboard-like flat, ZERO support seats;
- the stereo/sound quality is far better (subjective, I know);
- the FiST has blue tooth and MP3 capability (none of which my Z has, which is a HUGE irritant);
- the FiST's Nav screen is actually useable and readable (the Z's is almost pixelated);
- the paint is the same cheap quality on both (and clear bras are installed on BOTH as a result!);
- the stock FiST's headlamps are almost on par with the Z's HIDs;
- the Z also doesn't have a backup camera OR collision sensors;
- brake dust is the same on both;
- at 10,200 miles, the FiST has LESS rattles than my Z does at its current 8,600 miles (for the record though, both have VERY few rattles);
- etc, etc, etc??

Oh! I forgot

COURTESY WIPE pisses me off in winter... More of a mess then anything
This is now my top #1 complaint. It goes like this.
>it's -10F, and you are on the highway, car in front splashes salt/snow spray on your window you click the wiper
>the stuff just smears.
>Thats when you realize you will have to use windshield washer fluid to clean this mess up,*Spray*, wipe wipe wipe, great now I can see!
> 3 seconds of blissful super clear windshield
>***courtesy wipe***
>the super thin layer of windshield washer fluid has now frozen over on the outside, it is pure white, you can barely see out.
>WHY DID IT HAVE TO WIPE AGAIN!!! AARRGGGG!

Every damn time.

How stiff the ride is for daily driving. The roads I drive are uneven, have expansion gaps, potholes and are made of coarse asphault..... I can't wait to get new smaller/lighter wheels and hopefully coilovers or some other means to soften the response of bumps.

The arm rest is my biggest complaint. It's too far back and even with my hand on the shifter and it's in 6th gear I can get just the edge of my elbow on it. I'm 6' tall with normal length arms so I'm not small. If I want to rest my whole arm on the arm rest I feel like I'm sitting in an odd position. Part of the reason for this is my other complaint, the shifter is pretty low to the floor.

Not things I can't live with, but just a little annoying.

The armrest wasn't designed with Recaro's in mind. Regular seats make it useable. Deadhook has an easy fix for the low shifter.

Not a 2 door.
No projector headlamps.
Wish it had a center exit exhaust like the FoST.
No auto dim rear view mirror.
PIAA does not make wipers for the car. (have the PIAA Super silicone blades on all my other cars).

would have liked it to be a 2 door but still can live with the 4 doors, the center exhaust was a bummer as well but my biggest problem is not enough support from part companies, I mean we have some choices but nowhere near as many as other models. im sure in time this should improve but ya never know haha
