-There are 0 installation instructions for this turbo kit, nothing comes in the box except the parts, a certificate from TurboTechnics saying that they balanced the turbo, and the warranty card. This led to a complication after I installed the BOV adapter the wrong way around, my WGA kept seeing boost pressure and would stay open.
-Be sure to install the turbo by removing the stock manifold & turbo as one unit, bolting the new turbo to the manifold, and re-installing as one unit. This will save you a lot of time & headache.
This is very good info right there. Highlighted just those parts as I'm probably going to be taking part of installing one on friends car in maybe a month or so.

Yeah I was a little bummed about the lack of instructions. I was going to take photos but I got frustrated and didn't bother. I can walk someone through it, but no pictures to reference. The parts really can only go on one way, besides the BOV adapter, which was the only thing I messed up lol.

At least the Tune+ video is pretty good. Even thought he jumps a lot of steps for the sake of keeping the video interesting.

i have a maintenance manual, so i will be using that for installation, torquing and whatnot. what TT proprietary, it looks straight foward imo

It was straight forward. I was just trying to get it done since I needed to drive the car the next day. The WSM (workshop manual) has some unnecessary steps like removing the passenger axle bearing carrier (which is a right cunt to get back on with the turbo in the car).

I'm in bed now ill see if I can get to it tomorrow. Vdyno said 240whp on 18psi but who cares vdyno is vdyno. Felt faster then stock turbo but without the donkey kick. No timing or boost ramping down low yet I was at like 20% wgdc.

Yeah that was my thought too. I’m making 16psi right now, and it feels loads faster than the stock turbo and has none of the kick. It’s nice and smooth.
