I watched an F430 do 140 in the 1/2 mile today. My car does 145 in the half mile. All of your arguments about who is faster are invalid.

Why, Hijinx? Because y'all should be more worried about just having fun. This is the way I have fun with MY car. At the end of the day, it's your car and your money. This was an emissions question... Yet, has turned into another vs DHM/C39 thread. Really? If y'all (whoever that may be) are so jealous, pony up and out your money where your mouth is and get over it.

Hijinx, out.

Yea @TheTruth this isnt the RS Forum lol
I've never try to hide that was me. I'm pretty sure the first sentence I wrote was "hey it's your friend frankiefiesta checking in"

He mentioned me and made false claims to try and save his name in the RS community. If I went on another forum and said ish's car was so slow he parted it out, what would you do?

I'm over this, let me watch some UFC in peace lol

Just to get fact and nothing more, where are the potential coolant leaks with the X37 occurring? I got under my car yesterday and haven't noticed any leaking. Is leaking an eventuality because of a cheap casting process, or do the leaks occur because of something else? No mud and facts only, please.

Thanks,

Ryan

hmm, mine doesn't or hasn't leaked either. I might have got lucky and there are not miss shaped machined faces where everything bolts to. I have driven the car twenty hours both ways to Colorado springs and no turbo/brg failure. I don't see it as the end all power adder, I just see it as a no fab replacement for a decent increase. bob

Guys, I don't think the coolant leak thing is going to be common at all. If it's not leaking, it's prob not going to.
The China bearing housing come with slightly different crush washers than the factory ones too.

Two guys have had that issue. But I don't see it being a common thing.

You guys def should give Pumaspeed a heads up that it happened though, if you can... and if they listen.

But if I were an issue with one of my customers, I would need/want to know about it. And if no one ever tells them, they can't look out for it.

But if you have an X37 and haven't been losing coolant, it should not be an issue.

The bigger issue to me is that the guys that had problems, had to go at it alone without any support...

It is funny to me that at the time, wethenorth had his issue, the person he bought it from INSTANTLY blamed the installer and insisted it was impossible anyone but the installer was responsible lol. It's NOT impossible, and while everyone makes the best efforts to make everything perfect all the time, issues do come up, it's how those issues are fixed or addressed.

It was simply a dent in the casting under half of a crush washer. Most seem to be fine; mine had developed a slight drip which required removing the turbo as the bolt could not be tightened in place. You could see where half of the washer was scuffed from seating against the housing, but the other half was still shiny. A bump is a lot easier to fix than a dent.

We got lucky and with new bolts having heads that could be torqued sufficiently it seated properly. It works great. Just cost more than anticipated (I'm not a mechanic and time is $). We'll see if I can recover any of that since I have documentation of the problem, the fix, & I do have the crush washer. I'm not holding my breath.

It was just one of those things that can happen when you start playing around with cars. I'm sure that most are fine.

Guys guys.. stop attacking cyborg and dhm

Adam owes pumaspeed too much money and can't sell x37's no need to defend the turbo anymore
You know he'd make more $ if he returned emails. I've pm'd him and emailed him no response. Guess I'll have to look into a tune elsewhere. Not sure of other good etuners other than DHM.

I think you're confused. Adam is owner of tune+.

If you want a tune from DHM then buy it off their website. Why do you need to email them?

I emailed freektune once when I was looking for a tuner. Took 2 weeks to get a reply. No joke

Yea I'm talking about Adam. I had a few tune questions then wanted a tune and no responses. I was speaking in general since someone said Adam owed puma money. Can't make money if you don't get back to people

And I got my turbo from sourskittles since he offered porting and 19psi actuator over DHM 17psi
