Sleeves prevent the rubber from burning since it'll be in contact with the hot engine.

The Vent to atmosphere helps release some of the crankcase pressure, similar to the breather caps. It's not too big am issue on stock turbo but hybrids and big turbos can benefit from the release of excess pressure.

The hoses come nowhere near the engine, they are to prevent chafing for those that do a poor job of securing the lines. Mine has been in for over 3 years and no chafing. They make these things called tie wraps to prevent this. VTA is a way of turning your 49 state legal accessory into a 50 state illegal accessory with no proven positives for a stock system. I love my Damond OCC, easy plug and play install and easy to drain.
