I am confused about this too. Why would he ship 120lbs when he could get away with 50lbs (actual exhaust weight)? Unless....He scammed the place and didnt pay for shipping but then again 70lbs extra paper he had to pay. Just does not make any sense.

He shipped me the box that the exhaust originally came in, so he needed that much paper to fill it. He did in fact pay $150 to ship me the paper.

Great thread will read again.

We now officially have a crime committed. If you're planning on passing this to law enforcement, now is the time since I'm sure he left fingerprints all over that crumpled up paper. This stupid bitch lol.
No.

lol this is the first I've ever seen anything like this. I have to wonder what possessed him to even conjure up something like this and thinking he'll get away with it.

Let's have a moment of silence for the trees that lost their lives....

I'm thinking this whole ship-reams-of-paper to butterybunz wouldn't have happened had bunz not filed a claim with PayPal in such a timely manner. I'm willing to bet he was hoping to fleece as many people as humanly possible within, say, 5 days? and then disappear. Think about it...$850x10+ people is enough to leave the country and start anew (albeit on a budget) in Mexico or somewhere cheap. Hell...I might just do this myself! Hit 20-30 forums all at once? Boom! I'm outta here. Been fun. Cheers!

You are absolutely right since PayPal will deny dispute claims based on the sender providing a tracking number. More evidence pointing in the direction of a planned scheme to steal money from others.

Wow, this is pretty crazy. I will definitely keep my eye out for fishy stuff from here on out. I was thinking about how happy I would have been to get all that paper. I wouldn't have to buy printing paper ever again! It sucks so bad when you run out of it. I hope everyone gets their money back and good luck with future purchases.

Just got the response from PayPal looks like the refund did not go through.... No surprise there.

My PayPal claim however has been ruled in my favor and I will be getting my money back. Just waiting it to process now.
