Hi I was gonna order the thermal catback from whoosh, but had a quick question.

Do I need the 3" adapter? I have a depo racing downpipe that mounts to my stock catback without needing an adapter or anything. Figured I'd ask.

Thank you!

What size is the Depo DP? 3 inch or 2.5 inch?

No, you don't need an adapter.

Thermal ships the exhaust with a weird piece that connects to the downpipe, and it has a 2.5" choke point, presumably to mate perfectly to OEM DP I guess.
So technically, the Thermal exhaust is not a true 3" through the entire piping, but Ron sells an adapter that makes it a true 3".
I'm not convinced its absolutely necessary. My car makes good power on the Thermal exhaust with that 2.5" piece.
