I posted dates way in advance to try to let those interested prepare, etc.

If the Sunday’s don’t work, no one has specifically reached out to me about it. Saturday’s was not popular when I asked participants who have been showing up.

Weekdays... not gonna happen, at least not with me.

Afternoon meets? That’s a possibility, but not popular and most likely no drives.

So that brings us back to Sunday mornings which has been fine for the consistent participants.

Anyone is free to start a meet anywhere in SoCal that meets your local FiST community needs, yet few do. Sad

I get it, just mentioning some things that may not be obvious to some and why it’s Sunday mornings.

I never showed up to any afternoon/evening weekday meets when they were happening, just didn’t work with me well.

I still think and would like to see more enthusiasts have meets in their local areas, so I can go visit and join in, just not on a weekday [emoji41]

It is really amazing that there are so many FiST’s in SoCal yet so few meet up. The FoST’s crews seem to be a lot more active and then there are the mixed groups of FoST’s RS’s and FiST’s like RSThatchwerks etc..

I’m partial to FiST only meets. I have no desire to see a Pinto, Capri or Festiva show up. I go to Cars & Coffee for those occasions.

I got a buddy with a bad ass m4 that's wants to go cruisin. Maybe one time we get an all cars welcome of just other ppl we know. Not publicly announced thing. See how big a group we get.

I remember that spot, because not too far is the freeway and so is the southbound 'bicycle lane' right next to it. Pretty crazy and insane to be riding a bicycle next the cars flying by at ~70mph with no diving partition of any kind, just some painted lines.

This is one of my favorite drives. I used to go on the bike all the time. I'd love to take the FiST up there, but it's so far now that I'm down in SD.
