Can someone please confirm what's going on here.

It looks to me like these are really 11.8 and 13.339, after you take off the reaction time (or does it ignore the reaction time?). It was the same thing with Deadhooks epic run in Rodmoe's car. By the way, which one is which (I assume the faster is Hijinx's)

Were you guys texting while the lights were going down? lol (esondi has a good excuse, 2nd run in 15 years).

Best mod might be let SS drive; .082 R/T! lol

Not trying to upset anyone, really would like confirmation I'm understanding this correctly (in the meantime, I jest!)
On the time slip between myself and esondi, I am the faster car.

"( most the times about E70 actually, even though its "E85" )"

Just to make this more clear, E85 is a more of a name than an exact number, around 70% seems to be more common than actually 85% as it would seem.

You have to find out to be sure and different suppliers in an area may have different percentages.

To safely run your own mix the analyzer seems to be the only way to make sure you and adjust the mixture until it matches the tune.
70% is the minimum content required to be labeled E85, but it's definitely not 'more common' so stop spreading that misinformation. Yes, people should be testing their own gas stations to be sure, but far more people will find that the content is higher than those that will find it lower.

Reaction time isn't factor'd into the 1/4 mile time. The clock starts the second you leave the line. The R/T (Reaction Time) is simply how long he sat there after the light was green.
Thanx, Snail!

I assume "Left 1st .4358" means (13.491 + 1.691) - (14.478 + 1.139); you were first thru the traps by .4358 sec.

That is correct but in the end the reaction time really doesn't mean much when trying to set a personal best in the 1/4 mile. If you watch some drag videos you will see people sitting at the line for 2+ seconds before they launch.

Every place I checked said their E85 was 70% usually and sometimes a bit higher, I guess I should of called all over the country instead of just some companies in the west.

------------------

I have hardly ever drag raced and seem to not be good at launches, spin, let up and bog, just let it spin, whatever, never ran drag slicks though tried DOT road race tires, not the best, I seem to have an on/off switch when it comes to launching a car.
If I learned how to launch and shift just right every time I could probably do very well as have very very good reaction times.
The only good launches I recall doing were in a Forester XT, 285 autocross slicks, parking lot, pro solo practice event, 1.6 60ft times.

Last event was in 2003 in the first 1ZZ turbo Matrix ever built, ET and MPH sucked but RT's were great, I did these in a row(might be slightly off due to the years that passed since but the last run was exact.

When I watch you guys just hook up and go then say you were spinning or whatever, seems you are just gone to me:)
