Just saw on Facebook 11% off with code EARLYBF2019. I’ve been waiting for a sale so will probably jump on one. Question for Ron or others. I’m going to be pretty much stock for a long while but I live in Houston area so summers are HOT. Should I go for a V1 or with high ambient temps splurge for the V3? Also, if folks have pics of silver vs black on their FiSTs post them here.

If you ever plan on upgrading your turbo the V3 is the way to go and is honestly an amazing deal for only $100 more. And the product itself is great! That being said, if you know for certain that you will never swap the turbo, then the V1 is a great choice anyways. I got the V3 on the off chance I ever do swap my turbo and my charge temps are usually only 5 degrees above ambient in the Florida summer. Plus he'll paint it for you if you ask. If you're really worried about the heat, I would recommend a radiator. I hear Mountune and Mishimoto are pretty great.

Thanks Hypergram. I was leaning toward V3. The order site doesn’t mention being able to get a logo on them. Did you just ask in the notes section?

I would go for the v3. I read somewhere that the v3 has adjustable mounting brackets vs the v1 having fixed brackets. Some people were having trouble getting them lined up.

Ordered my V3 in black finally!

I’m in Sacramento where it’s hot AF in the summer time so I went V3.

-better built unit
-better finish
-better for hot climate on stock turbo
-room to grow for hybrid
-only $89 more at the moment

Yup! Or you can buy a stencil and spray it yourself if you would like.

We have polished V1's and Bright Silver V3's in stock
If you order a Black V3 (shows OUT OF STOCK) it will ship later this week. I have shipping notice that our pallets of V3's are already in Nevada

A little off topic but I figured I'd ask anyways. You have any new body pieces (spliters and stuff) or eyebrows on the way? Thanks!

DAC9E31E-CA74-458D-BEE7-8951C9728B24.jpeg Well, I’ll go back on topic. My V3 arrived today in perfect condition. In fact the delivery driver was driving a Cadillac SUV so I’ll give Ron credit for white glove delivery.

Got mine yesterday. Looks great. Need to order pipes and some heat tape before I slap it on. I'm excited to compare AIT's vs autoX last year.

Btw Ron, your sticker is getting crushed with the brackets. I have plenty of Whoosh stickers, so just an FYI :)

WAIT- Stickers? Ron@whoosh? I didn’t even get a crushed sticker! You’ll have to make it up to me in my next order. I’ll give you the benefit of doubt that they fell out when you painted my whoosh on it. Or just send me a Thermal R&D exhaust to make up for my loss 🤪
