I don't know about others, but the slight yellow tint of halogens helps me with contrast at night. Too white and I feel like contrast suffers. ~4300k was my typical HID preference IIRC (on my motorcycles).

The best thing I ever did for driving at night was getting my glasses with a slight amber tint, it really makes things "pop" at night.
Yes, but I'd rather have 6000k than even 100k less than 4300k, which to me is the minimum acceptable and most common with factory HID's. But halogens are all the way down in 3400k range, just horrible diarrhea yellow/brown to me. With 5000k being pure white and will provide the most contrast (past 5000k is where you see contrast and brightness per watt start to drop off) and would technically be ideal but hard to get LED's in exactly 5000k. Unfortunately the "market" wants that touch of blue so you see 6000k mass produced, but if you search hard enough you can find actual 4300k and 5000k for LED's too but, mostly on import sites like AliExpress and you'd be waiting 2-4 weeks from overseas to see if you really like them in person. I got "4300k" LED's from AliExpress to go with my yellow Lamin-X covers and the output still comes out a little green... Hmmm, something tells me they aren't exactly 4300k, LOL. Yeah, they are actually 5500k, if I had to guess, it's too bad there is so little quality control they can't even put the right bulb in the box clearly marked 4300k as well.

Feel free to update this thread when the Depos come back on sale.
Sorry man, I don't work for Cars245.com, I just am a regular guy helping point people in the right direction.. it doesn't say stock or out of stock anymore for that side but "special order", so sounds like you can order them, it will just take longer, I've heard of people getting those special order ones like that in under 2 months. And TYC may be fine now, their only real issue is that a number of people who ordered them, all over a year ago, didn't have much aiming adjustment, that part of the assembly was bound/pinched from working smoothly and even then they said they weren't far to begin with anyway.

Yeah Constantine didnt know when hed get it and didnt seem too interested in waiting for it for my order. Im like why do I just want one light? lol. I dont want to deal with TYCs again lol.

I have been on staycation for a few days so tonight ill finally get to use the techmax leds on my commute home. We have a lot of unlit backroads here. Im bummed... I miss the projector cutoff.

oh it looks like the DEPO lights are on ebay but are $100 more :-/.
Actually I just looked and I didn't see the Depo on eBay (Edit: I did find them eventually, but indeed $100 more total for both shipped), and a search for the Depo part number for the right hand one you would have to special order pulled up a TYC for $250 each... ouch. What I did see are the BLACK internal Depo's for $580 total, which are the only way to get any OEM style in black without splitting and doing yourself... Man, I wonder if TYC has their aiming adjustment issue fixed or not, or since they are intended for electronic leveling anyway and are the even cheaper of the Taiwan replicas if they even give any shits about it or not...

Oh, wow... I took the part number of the $580 black Depo's on eBay and put it into Cars 245 search and found them on there! I had no idea they had those since their search by car year/model/trim sucks so bad I never found them, in fact they aren't even listed for any car on Cars245, but indeed are for the '13+ (including our '14-19 Fiesta/ST).

Now, I've heard of the Loro brand but have no idea how their quality compares at the exact same price.. BUT also 30 days handling special order... If someone wants black internals and can wait, They are only $457 total shipped. even if they ask for $15 more later for shipping, you are still over $100 cheaper than eBay, which also says about 6-7 weeks to receive anyway.

So yeah, Under $500 for black ones you can't even get in regular OEM that are $800, so not bad!

Thats what I thought but Constantine only gave me the choice of cancellation and reordering the one in stock or just cancelling my order all together. Seemed kind of weird but it gave me concern if I needed another right lamp (I think thats the one), I'd have to wait another 30 days for it.

And the issue I had with TYC was that my drivers side light was fully adjustable but the passenger side wouldnt adjust at all. Like it was locked in place. The second light they reluctantly sent me only adjusted a tiny bit but it was already set perfect..I wont get those again after the hell they put me through to just get it replaced under warranty. They wanted me to take it to a mechanic to verify it didnt adjust. LOL DUMBASS I KNOW HOW TO ADJUST THEM. This was when I got the TYCs on ebay.

Im excited to see how good the LEDs are in the reflectors tonight on my drive home :)

So are the HELLA branded lights there OEM? Because those are IIRC cheaper than going through Woosh or Ford EU.

Oh, so he actually reached out to you to tell you that he can't get the right one at all, or that it would just take longer? It sucks, but a lot of these are that way anyway, even the eBay listings for the black interior ones say 6-7 weeks, while the left side exact matching of the cars245 ones we are talking about are listed on eBay as well, just more expensive... but the right side have no listing right now either... I wonder if there are different companies in Latvia selling these on eBay or if they are all related to cars245, either way, that right side one isn't readily available, and that does suck. I kinda wish someone would be wiling to be a guinea pig to see how the TYC are now, LOL.

To me it seemed like he either didnt want my order to sit and gather dust and be liable for the one instock headlight OR he had no idea when or if hed get the other light. He didnt seem interested in me waiting for the one headlight to get in stock, which I was fine with.. It was cool he reached out to me however. I ordered with a creditcard and he said he couldnt offer a partial refund on my order because of it. Glad I used that and not a debit card or paypal.

Yeah so did they just stop making one headlight? lol its so weird. Who is needing all these mismatched headlamps.

Sorry, just now saw your edit... Constantine allowed for just a photo of my broken tab and issued me a $50 partial refund, I think they would have accepted a video of you adjusting one side easily and then showing the other not adjusting the same way, but who knows if they are different or the same company in Latvia so you'd be dealing with Constantine or someone else if ordered off eBay... But yeah, I don't blame you for being gun shy with the TYC now, but at least if you did order through Cars245 you'd get much more reasonable support from Constantine for sure.

Maybe in Europe it's common for the right headlight to damaged more often or something, but it is weird their is such a quantity difference between the 2 sides... And yes, Hella is one of 2 Ford OEM providers, a guy on one of the FB groups ordered the Hella instead of Depo and really likes them and you'd save over $100 over going through or other places most likely, but I have heard of finding them in the $650 range elsewhere too, like Ford of Europe or UK if you can find their contact info.

I think it was a different outfit.. the seller was "koplx55". But thats what I ended up doing - I took a video and posted that to YouTube and sent them the link. They sent a new headlight and told me to destroy the one I had.

So I guess I'll wait a month or so to see if the Depos come back on car245, or unless anyone else tries the TYC or eBay lamps. Unless you guys have another suggestion?

Id keep an eye out on the FS forum. But I am also going to look into having the stock lamps retrofitted (if I can get some stock headlamps to use for that). But I have to say the euro projectors are really nice.

I love the Euro Projectors, but unless I win the lotto I can't afford the $800. In the meantime, I might get the better bulbs and just put them in my stock headlights. Is it possible to put the LED DRL in the stock lamps?

Good question, but I doubt it. Personally, at this moment with what's in stock, I'd be willing to try the TYC, they all come aimed pretty well, but I also understand some people's concerns but there just isn't much selection out there to be picky unless you go with the Hella's which have a much lower delivery and faster handling time for around $625.

You got a link to the Hella's? I'd like to take a look at them

They are on the same page as the original list I put up, HERE. What gets me is that the difference between the $300 ones and the $534 ones... first, you don't want the expensive ones as they are for UK/former colonies/left hand traffic but they have to pay a lot more just to include the Hella brand bulbs and meet their safety certs... But yeah, "only" 2 weeks handling time and much lower shipping cost strangely on the $300 Hella's, seems like a very good alternative to getting $800 OEM's for only $650 or less!

I was wondering what the differences were. Thanks. With the two lamps plus shipping it comes out to ~$650 which is a little rich for me. At that point I'd rather wait for the Depo's or spend another $150 on the Euros from Whoosh.

But Hella's ARE the OEM's so the only difference would be possibly getting Whoosh faster than 3 weeks (2 weeks handling, 1 week shipping) it would take from this site... It does look like he stocks them so probably 1 week to receive from Ron. So is getting them 2 weeks later worth saving $150, for some people it may be... And that's assuming they cars245 asks more for shipping, shows only $613 shipped and both sources will need the bulbs.
