As I was heading to work. I found out one of my taillights went out, when I was stopped at a red light and could see the reflection from the car behind me.

@Fiesta fan - This is a prime opportunity for some Spec-D lights. I used to opportunistically check my tail lights (brake, run, turn-sig) in a store front window reflection. (y)

I looked that up and found this bit of advice: N-Series valve (with nipple to accept hose) is not recommended for passenger cars with low clearance. Is that of any concern if I've lowered my FiST?
Valve that I have is F106SX I'm lowered by about .75". As you can see in the picture, the valve doesn't stick down that much and the brace and subframe will scrape the ground first.

Great interview, I wonder if any of these guys were let go when the FiST and FOCUS were cancelled.
Don't know but suspect the staff may be "ST" specific... meaning they could be rolled over from one vehicle (project) to the next.

I installed my fourth HVAC blend door actuator (YH-1896) today. I have the 5th standing by for the day this one also breaks.

While I was in there, I replaced my buzzing interior temp sensor fan module and added the Euro-market isolator for good measure.

3M5Z-19C734-C = replacement interior temp sensor
BA61-19F647-AA = diffuser adapter (Euro market)

Dumped a bunch of leaked oil from #1 and 3 spark plug wells while changing out new NGKs. No smoke! Going to have to suck that up next time....if there IS a next time!

Checking undercar today and saw this hole. Is there anything that cover it? I know the stock charge pipe has a bracket in front of it but the Whoosh one does not which leave this hole expose to the element. 1000000588.png

Had AAA visit my house this morning to install a new battery. I think I got my money's worth out of this last one with it being about 5yrs old. Not bad, only 2 batteries in 10yrs! Originally, AAA stated that my area is not covered so I made a quick call to a friend who works for them and lo and behold, I had a new battery installed in about 40 mins. It's not what you know, it's WHO you know!

I was googling around to figure out suggestions for recaro seat adjustments recommendations and learned that the tilt wheel also telescopes. I had no idea.
I think there are several threads on here about how hard you have to pull the first time you adjust it. I definitely had to put some muscle into it.

After a lot of procrastination, finally got my DialCaliper “rally” springs installed. Dialcaliper’s instructions were easy to follow, both in terms of the required parts, assembly of the springs and the final install. (Highly recommend getting a set of the 12.9 strut bolts from Dialcaliper over the single use OEM bolts at $15 each). Ran out of time before leaving for vacation, so won’t have any feedback about performance for 10 days or so. I regret not upgrading to B6 Bilsteins while it was apart but my OEM struts/shocks had very few miles on them and I was interested to see what the change was like with the springs by themselves. …. More to follow
