Finally decided to throw on the winter/'rally' wheel tire setup, since I think that the near 0*F temps at night here lately were not doing the Conti DWS-06es on my 2.5 season daily driver setup any favors at all.

Also I will not have to worry about an emergency wheel change if we get dumped on by a 'once in a hundred year' type winter storm, and I have to be mobile for something urgent (like getting my girlfriend to the doctor/hospital, etc.).

They also are starting to 'age out' so might as well put the wear and tear, or potential pothole/crater damage (which they can handle better with taller and XL rated side walls) on them instead of the new, very fresh build date Contis, before I maybe try the Hankook i*ept winters next on these Method wheels.

Swung by Discount tire and had them swap the tires/wheels around.

The old 215/45R16 RT660s went onto the 16x8 Decagrams.

The new 205/45R16 PS31s went on the 16x7.5 Lockouts.

Reasons. Mostly looks. The narrower tires look better on the narrower wheels, not as much sidewall buldge, and the Bronze IMO looks better on the car than the black wheels. The Lockouts are a bit heavier than the Dekagrams but these will be street wheels with summer tires and the Dekagrams will just keep living with either RT660s or RT615Ks for more spirited driving than commuting.
