I just did this on mine over the winter break and I can absolutely attest to the fact that it's life-changing. What a difference ! Thanks @KXNGABE85

I'll have more details on my build thread soon, but the gist of it is :

80mil butyl insulation as a first layer : LINK
View attachment 65080

394mil closed cell foam insulation as a second layer : LINK
View attachment 65079

Wow! The 3.5k-4.5k RPM resonance on downshifts is attenuated to a large degree and the cabin is much quieter.
how much weight do you think you picked up?

Long day and semi-long evening. When I got back from my son's bday party around 6 there was an EIBACH, Amazon, and Rock Auto package in the package bin. So installed the following after running into town to grab a spring compressor from Oriley's.

New wipers all around
Cobra Radar Detector installed and hard wired in.
H&R Springs removed and Eibach springs put in place.

Tomorrow, Discount Tire should have my new tires (KUMHO PS31s to replace Lockouts with RT660s), TPMS sensors and Dekagram wheels in for install. Then I have to swing by a few alignment places and see if they can squeeze me in. Tuesday it's back to regular work.

My suggestion for the Alignment is find The a garage the Local hot rod guys use that use string and measuring to get it done. i have found them to more precise and better than the machines do.

I used the string/jackstand method in the garage. Had to go about a half turn on each tie rod to get to slight toe in. Ive got a set of better metric machinist rulers coming in and some alignment tools as well so I can check my work done with strings and a tape measure.

I checked camber with my analog angle finder and Im between 1-1.5 degrees there.

Discount got delayed on getting my wheels in so I still dont have those yet. I'll be keeping the Lockouts and RT660s for more spirited use.
