Welp...Things are looking decent with the 2nd engine. Thanks Blackstone laboratories! View attachment 64612
Out of curiosity, ever try sending in an unused sample straight from the bottom of the bottle for comparison? They do have the "should be" values there. Would just be an exercise in curiosity.

Yesterday I did Bilstein B6 struts, new oem coils, new rear hubs and bearings, new set of Continental Viking Contacts, and Ravenol transmission fluid. Took all day because of battling rust but I only had to cut one bolt. I have a whole set of Vibra-Technic motor mounts waiting to install, but I've had enough of working on the car for a bit. I'll do them within the next month.

Bilstein's feel great. Hopefully they settle in over time because they're slightly bouncy, but they feel way better than my worn out struts obviously. The transmission fluid is the most impactful mod I've ever done to this car. Night and day difference. Shifting is much more smooth and doesn't buck anymore when shifting fast from 2nd to 3rd. If you find some time, post some pics of from the side showing wheel gap. Always trying to get a better idea of how B6 sit

Here you go. Not the best pictures since it gets dark at 5pm. Ignore my finger in the picture. Looks nearly identical to stock height. Currently on 195/50-16 Continental VikingContact 7 winter tires.

I’ve never been a fan of vinyl as a seat material (courtesy of EF Civics), but if I plan to do some rallycross events next year, I wanted a seat that could keep dirt out of the material a bit better. I might need some different side mounts, the seat is about 1-2” lower than I would like but should be fine for this weekend at Streets of Willow & Buttonwillow CW13.
