Thought about when I started getting really excited about the car scene in the mid-late 90's and decided to make a grounding kit for the FiST #1... You know, for nostalgia ...lol

If you look at the negative battery terminal where it bolts to the body, it's all painted so it's actually only contacting through the thread on the bolt and that tiny little spot weld where the bracket mounts to the strut tower..

Droppped the OEM 17s off for refurb - https://www.powderfx.co.uk/product/performance-bronze-satin/

Should get them back later this week, quite looking forward to having something different to the black that everyone goes for over here. Also didn't want something as bright as Subaru Gold.

I like that 'in-between' gold, as seen on the Speedlines and Braid wheels, darker than the Scoobie, or Team Dynamics gold, but lighter than that bronze shade above. [thumb]

I umm'd and ahh'd about which shade to go for, something darker suits my infrequent wheel washing but still with a bit pf sparkle / flake for the times I do want a clean shiny car.

I'll find out this week whether i like it or not, the wheel refurb place assures me it wasn't a 'brave' choice

Finally put on my gel overlay badges from Whoosh. Too subtle to warrant a pic (just swapped Ford Blue for Black)... been impatiently waiting since November. I'm pleased with how they turned out.

Damn, I'm glad I don't live where you guys do! I got all 5 windows done just after I bought the car 7yrs ago for less that $100. Not a hint of an air bubble anywhere and no scratches. Mission Rd is the place to go when in LA!
Late late reply but..
Would that place be called California Tint? I did mine the 3rd day i bought my car for $100 and still going on 6yrs strong no bubbles or anything.

No pics, but I got a 2 point lower front chassis brace from Pierce Motorsport and better shifter bushings from Boomba that I will install soon. Trying to do small things to both keep busy tinkering this winter so I don't go insane and to prep for a short weekend trip to drive the Tail of the Dragon once Spring comes around. Itching for a road trip/ drive.

Installed B6’s front and rear! Snowing here, so test drive will have to wait, but the stock struts were completely View attachment 47100 blown at 90k miles so the improvement should be drastically better.
Nice! I wanna get b6s in the future for my Fiesta. Let us know how they feel when you get a chance to drive (hopefully soon!)

Look forward to hearing more on these. How they feel. Did you reuse the oem top nut in the rear?

Updated to Sync 3.4...have to go back in and fix voice recognition.. View attachment 47122
Do you also run android auto? Wondering if this helps with the (near constant) integration issues. Read: every time my pixel gets an update, I've got to screw with some setting (either can't take calls or won't pull up maps). Meh, probably my fault for going the pixel route (I'm basically a Google beta tester).

No Android, nor do I use Apple CarPlay. This is the site, if interested.. https://cyanlabs.net/fhub/
Note: I assume no responsibility for any issues you may have using their software-no do they. ;)

That's been my biggest reservation. Knowing I can't go back if I flash forward. Android Auto, when working properly, is an amazing experience. Google Maps (with real time traffic updates) all the music on my phone (to save data). I wouldn't want to drive without it.

Having upgraded the HU in mine to a Kenwood DMX5020 with Android Auto ... i am in complete agreement. So nice having the screen free of a mobile phone etc along with the increase in sound quality.
