Took it in for an oil change, I don't have anywhere to do it myself. While there I brought up the issue of my steering wheel peeling and the dash vinyl popping.

you know that's one of my favorite parts of owning a FiST, ppl come up and ask what it is all the time. They cant believe its a fiesta. after a year of owning I still have only seen one other one round here, and I like being unique, sure for just a bit more I could've bought a base model challenger (shoot right now they are on sale down the road for 19k) but those are everywhere. I like the looks the FiST brings as ppl drive by trying to figure out what it is...I guess the only downfall is that there are no meetups like yall have out west
There's one more reason I could not buy a Challenger right now, besides finances (as much as I love the car itself, despite it's hefty mass), and it's the same reason I just cannot wear any red hats, or khaki shorts with a white polo shirt anymore. [:(] ;)

But yes, this car is much more unique than even exotic/semi-exotic rides in this immediate area, and it does perplex most who even try to figure out what it is (it seems that even many of the import fanboyzz around here don't even know what it is despite it having been in D-Sport, and their other rags many times).

Added a battery hold down. (Smiley faces optional)

LED turn signals
They are white when the parking lights are on then change to yellow and flash when turn signals used.

And a Boomba short shifter adapter.
Did you get the resistor to stop the hyper flash ??

Yes, you have to use the resistor.
You can tap into the wiring harness that goes into the headlight assembly.
The wiring is:

Left turn - Blu-grn stripe
ground wires are black-yl stripe
Right turn - Yel-vt stripe
ground black-gy stripe

You just have to remember to mount the resisters to something, they get very hot.

Flaco,

I tried finding the same Euro handbrake cover on eBay and came up with nothing - what were the key words you used to find it? I'd love to do that swap on my handbrake as well.

Thanks!

Added the European handbrake cover. Nice touch over the North American version. Bought of E-bay and shipped/received from England in 6 work days. $ 56.00 total.

You'll have to look on E-bay United Kindgom site. There are at least 6 used ones at the moment . Look at the pictures carefully and pick out the nicest one. The one I bought had free shipping.

I installed a Mountune Rear Motor Mount and I have this clicking noise going on when im on 1st and second gear. Is that normal? It never did that when I had the stock motor mount.

Will do. Will change oil when i do the install. The skid plate itself has some scratches that resulted in extra discount :) i didnt really care as it will live under the car and will eventually get more scratches up anyway.

Oil & filter change, drained OCC, rotated tires, washed, and rolled past 17k.

Going to be packing her up in the morning for the day at ST Fest at Cordova. Have a group of 15ish cruising out there from the Chicagoland area with another 10ish that went out this afternoon.

Installed left rear shock, Koni Sport. I procrastinated all day and didn't start till it was almost dark. So, right side gets done tomorrow!
