Installed my No Pistons dead pedal

Installed my ASD pedal spacer

Lamin X'ed my fogs

My fave mod of the day. I <3 Mika! My 11 year old Shih Tzu.
Is that no pistons second batch or the pedal spacer from mod bargains?

And how did you install the fog light film? Just curious. Thanks.

TBH I'm not sure which batch it's from, but I got it sometime in late February. The pedal spacer I got used from a forum member but I'm pretty sure he bought it from mod bargains. The fog light film was a little bit of a PITA. For me it was a two person job. I have a set of plastic trim pullers and I used it to pry the plastic surround off but I could only get the circle part off (where it surrounds the fog light). I didn't want to pull too hard because I didn't want to break it so I just left the other half still clipped in. I had my cousin pulling on the unclipped part to expose the fog light while I installed the Lamin X. I got lucky that I aimed right on both tries and didn't need to readjust. If you can somehow get the plastic surround off, it'll make the install a breeze.

Oh okay. I just wanted to see your impressions on it. I ordered no pistons second batch because I heard the mod bargains one was too high and tm no pistons first batch was to low. So this second batch should be perfect hopefully.

And damn I was hoping for a different response one the film procedure. Haha.

Spring cleaning! by Bryan Redeker BRGT350, on Flickr

Spent a couple hours cleaning the suspension and chassis this weekend. Used a combination of tooth brushes, large brushes, cleaners, rags, and about anything I could find to undo all the mess from winter. Even took brass wool and metal polish to the muffler. The exhaust looks horrible, but at least the muffler is now clean. I installed the summer tires when I was all done with the cleaning.

Sorry dude, I completely misunderstood what you said. I thought you were asking about the dead pedal.

But yeah, the pedal spacer is definitely the 1st batch from Mod Bargains. It's the highest one. I really like it but I've only really driven it on the street. For track, I can see how it might be too high for some people. When you're stomping on the brakes, the gas pedal will be higher than it so you'll have to pivot your foot higher to heel and toe. It'll be more problematic for people who use the side-to-side "big toe and little toe" rev matching, for sure.

That is a very thorough job.

Was behind a modified MS3 on a twisty road on the way to the car meet this evening. Obviously modified. He saw me back there and when some traffic got out of the way, he took off.

I followed. Long story short, he couldn't get away. Most fun I've had behind the wheel in a while.

Awesome, was it pure handling superiority? Are you modded any?

Handling and power helped. When he floored it I was right with him.

Handling: Pierce Motorsports 2 point front lower tie bar, TB Performance torsion bar

Power: silicone intake hose, K&N drop in, cp-e 3" catted downpipe, MBRP exhaust (modified to be fully 3" at the flange), Mishimoto J-Line Intercooler, custom Randy tune on Cobb AccessPORT v3.

I cut out my lower ic grille for more airflow to my j-line. Removed the center chassis brace that was rubbing my mbrp catback and wrapped my 2j intake in heat resistant tape. Overall I feel semi productive

Very nice! Will you be shooting any video?

Have you been on the roads before enough to memorize the course?
I will be shooting video, getting it online will be tough as I only use mobile devices not PC. Never seen the course before, but I've been watching videos to learn a little.

YouTube is your easy solution to the video problem. Good luck and don't ball it up!
