So I've just drained 1.6 litres of oil from my sump and it still measures over the full mark on this S*** dipstick.
Am I missing something? The engine is warm but surely the mechanic is not that brain dead?
Should I wait till morning and check when cold?
**Edit**
I realised my error. When I drained the oil I should have started the engine to circulate it through the moving parts.
Once I did this it read a tiny bit below full.
So I added about 100ml and called it a day. SO total overfill about 1.5 litres. lol wtf?

Since i finally got some free time today. I finally trimmed the front intercooler shield/air damn to fit with my j line. Took about 3 hours in total, but im satisfied with my install and the bumper seems much more secure. Ill see over the next few days if it brings back a few more mpg or effects charge temps. I also adjusted my mbrp cat back a bit as the tips were not lined up right and driving me nuts.

Cleaned her up, and had a friend do a photo shoot of her. Pics will be uploaded when he gets them back to me. Might be a few days. :)

Drove the shit out of it today. Got flicked off twice. Loving my new hole in my upper radiator shroud feeding intake. Will be ordering brake ducting to create a tube so no heat from radiator area goes into snorkel.

Installed my TB torsion bar (yesterday), and took my pack of fabric swatches from Redline goods down and compared some color options. Thinking of the black Napa and red Bride for my armrests and shift boot.

I picked up the original forum favorite from Autogeek.com. This is a two day detailing workout, even with a Girots orbital polisher. Car has to be cleaned, I use a power washer and a foam cannon with Adams car soap. Then I wiped her down with Sonax detail spray. I used Girots clay bar with the Sonax spray for lubricant, to remove surface contamination. Then another wipedown with a high pile microfiber cloth and more sonax detail. Then I started off with the forum favorite.

This is a complete kit for a really deep shine. It consists of Klasee all-in-one polishing compound, used with the Girots polisher, an orange waffle pad, set on 3.5. Apply sparingly on the pad, and select a section about 2 ft by 2 ft. Polish this section, and then using a heavy pile microfiber towel, polish to a shine. Then, the next step is Klasee high gloss sealant glaze. Using a red finishing pad, apply the glaze a section at a time, then polish the haze off. The final step is done on the next day to allow the glaze to harden. Using Pinnacle Souveran carnuba paste wax with a red application pad, apply the wax, and buff, using a thick pile microfiber towel. Then stand back and admire the shine. Wheels, tires, black trim, glass are next. This shine is very deep, and should last 3-4 month before more wax is required. Another year before a complete detail is required.

Looks awesome man. I pay around 150 every 3-4 months for a full detail for my car. They come to my apartment and everything and do an amazing job. Super convenient.
