First downpipe I've ever done. Yeah it wasn't exactly fun. Lol but satisfying to do it yourself. You just need a long weekend like this and your gold. Dave and Kip if you guys fly me over I'll do both haha :)

If it wasn't for the damn heat shielding, the down pipe can be swapped in like 15 min. Not a hard job at all, just annoying at some points haha.

For sure but you also need to get those bolts and o2 sensors soaking and that does eat time up. It's always the way but if I did it again it would be quicker. I do like to take my time and only use hand tools. So for me never that quick.

Drove out to US129 "Tail of the Dragon" yesterday to meet up with some buddies. Stayed the night, and got a lot of solid runs in. The BCs handle extremely flat, and the Fiesta felt great out there! Here's some pics, including one of my buddy's VQ35 swapped, full cage, built 240!

I think a bone stock fiesta ST is perfection on the dragon its self. A cyborg, bigger turbo, E30 tune tune, all that, I think it would make it not the perfect car on the dragon its self..... Now all the other awesome, slightly higher speed roads around the dragon? Mods ans drivers wanted. I think it would over run the brakes and cooling system on the roads around the dragon ( I like moonshiner ).

Speeding on the dragon is suicide for your drivers license anyway, so just enjoy the curves and hold a gear when you get to 42mph :)

Completed the install of my Seibon Carbon hatch door.
My car is another 14 lbs. faster thanks to the Seibon diet.

It does look good, but considering 10lbs is about equal to 1WHP, that's an expensive 1.5WHP... How does it fit? Looks pretty trick
So leave out the wiper and save another 3 lbs. for more WHP for your buck. LOL

The fit and finish is great, I however got the prototype and a few holes were marked but not drilled.
I have provided them with feedback and I am sure this will be corrected.

Drained a cup of oil from the dealer over fill :\
Still measures over the full marker by a fair way :/
Will drain another cup later...

Rokblokz and MBRP cbe (a few days ago honestly not today).

for people who have used aftermarket exhausts before, is this too close to the rear valence? the tips don't seem to get super hot, and they do clear the valence but only by like maybe 1cm at most. I don't mind not being able to read MBRP on the tops of them but if it's gonna start hurting my paint job I'll need to get under and wiggle it around.

My FSWERK exhaust was on and melted away a good portion of the valence, now it forms a perfect round melted plastic form over the tips LOL, but whatever because RACEKAR

When I installed my FSWERKS exhaust, I took a clean shop towel, and folded it up so I could stuff it in between the exhaust tip and the valence. Then I tightened everything up from the cat back, to the muffler. That way you get a nice even gap.

Great idea, when I get my rmm from mountune I'll get back under and loosen it up and do just that.

Thanks airjor, hopefully I can tweak mine before I get that custom racecar valence action going on, hahah.
