It’s been a while, but I got some XDI 30% injectors in and waiting to be installed. I also got 2 front tires. Falken RT615’s. Holy crap these grip, I don’t spin that much in second and puts the power down better. I wanted to try the RT660’s but didn’t want to spend more as I’m planning on going down to 16’s within the next few months.

I think you installed an S280 around the same time I did my Hybrid. Are you doing injectors only? Ive been digging into doing the same to get more out of my E30.

That's impressive, a nice milestone.
What repairs have you had to do?
Thanks!
Lots of tires and brake pads lol. I’ve had the valves walnut blasted at 100k. I’ve replaced the serpentine belt and related pulleys, at least two purge valves, and an evap canister. I replaced (upgraded) the radiator with a Mountune one. I’ve replaced a spoiler and steering wheel. I’ve replaced front shocks once and rears twice. I’ve had to chase down a few electrical issues, one of which was entirely my fault. Both ended up being broken wires but one took a while to actually track down. I’ve done spark plugs a couple times and coils once.
Honestly most of the things I’ve listed are more maintenance than repairs. It’s been a reliable car for me, especially for how I drive. I definitely don’t baby it. The only looming big issue is that my transmission synchros are getting worse so eventually I’ll have to address that.

You're supposed to turn off the oil-change (wrench light) and reset your TPS (exclamation point) lights first, THEN take the pic LoL. 😜

Anyway, may the next 125 go as smooth as the first. 😎
Lol! I’ve never figured out how to make the wrench go away and I don’t run TPS sensors. Honestly I’m using to those lights and I’d be more concerned if I didn’t see them lol

You probably know this, but here is a copy and paste of how to make the wrench light turn off. I do it once a year after an oil change, and it has always turned the light off. The only thing that's different from the procedure is that I don't get any messages saying that the reset is in progress or is completed, the yellow wrench light just goes out a few seconds after step three.

OIL CHANGE INDICATOR RESET

Resetting the Oil Life Monitoring System

Only reset the oil life monitoring system after changing the engine oil and oil filter.

1. Switch the ignition on. Do not start the engine. For vehicles with push-button start, press and hold the start button for two seconds without pressing the brake pedal. Do not start the engine.

2. Press the accelerator and brake pedals at the same time.

3. Keep the accelerator and brake pedals fully pressed.

4. After three seconds, a message confirming that the reset is in progress will be displayed.

5. After 25 seconds, a message confirming that the reset is complete will be displayed.

6. Release the accelerator and brake pedals.

7. The message confirming that the reset is complete will no longer be displayed.

8. Switch the ignition off. For vehicles with push-button start, press the start button to switch the ignition off.

Yeah, I wish that the stupid TPMS light were as easy to make 'go away' without having to procure ForScan and basically 'write it out' of the BCM.

I also do not own even ONE set of wheels with the stupid, totally useless, TPMS sensors installed (and I currently own 5 sets!!).

They don't have much function in the Fiesta ST, though they will warn you of a low tire (happened to us just about 2 weeks after installing a brand new set of tires--had a screw through the tread. TPMS light came on, tire had about 24 psi.) But my F150 uses the exact same wheel sensors and I can use the dash display to see all four tire pressures on the digital display. And it's very accurate when compared to my dial gauge. When the weather changes I can easily check the tire pressures without getting out of the vehicle.

YES! IF we had a system like your truck has (I thought it was only GM that offered that type of system?), I would probably bother with the expense/hassle of installing and maintaining TPMS sensors in all of my wheels.

But NOT for the way ours is setup now. [nono]

I have no problem checking the pressures myself, once a week. [thumb]

Finally grabbed a cheap laptop and setup forscan with a 2 month extended license. Been sitting on an ELM dongle I bought 3 years ago for this lol. Went in to disable the sony digital processing.

Can confirm my 2019 was set to "2xxx xxxx xxxx" Changed that to a "0xxx xxxx xxxx"

Volume, bass and depth were drastically changed for the better. I did this mainly in anticipating replacing all the factory speakers with some JL Audio C1 650 and 650X. Will probably also add an underseat sub. IF I can fit the 10" Kicker will probably get that, if not the newer slightly more powerful Kenwood.

I hit two screws because of construction the other day. Dropped ~20psi in a few miles. TPMS saved me from probably destroying a tire as I was about to leave town and wouldn't have been near a tire shop.

Lol the irrational hate for technology(esp on car forums) is funny. It's a useful thing to have.

thanks for reminding me to do this after upgrading my Sync. The bass has been really weird and inconsistent since I did that and I completely forgot about the sync EQ stuff that's in there.

@TyphoonFiST - Congrats & welcome back. 👹

@M-Sport fan - The system has the information, they're just choosing not to show it. Had an expensive TPMS tool that was capable of not only reading pressure from each sensor, but also temperature and battery level. Unfortunately the manufacturer of that tool (Autel) knowingly sold defective units then refused to support them. So never buying anything Autel again...

Yes, it is NOT that I am against 'technology' in modern cars (but I could do without most of the useless 'nannies', as far as I am concerned there is no such thing as an 'electronic limited slip' [nono]), just give me something that is worthwhile, and do it CORRECTLY (pressure displays for all four sensors individually) if you are going to do it at all.
