Maybe I'll grown into it like mom buying me new jeans....actually may improve my fuel mileage. ;)
aaaaand, it's growing on me (growling on me?). It's a compromise of finding a new sweet spot, apparently mashing the go pedal is not the only answer. Now to figure out the PO0420 light...before emission testing fail

Installed a Radium PVC side catch can and Mountune symposer delete. Not sure whether I should buy the Radium crankcase catch can as well. I’ve completed all my longevity/reliability/driveability mods for now. Probably going to take a break before moving on to turbo upgrading.

I swapped the stock air filter back in. I have not changed my driving habits but my MPGs have increased from 27-30 on e30. Mostly highway driving.

New rotors and pads today, Powerstop's coated line for rotors and the PSA track pads in prep for a track day my car is going to Tuesday (But that I am unfortunately not lol). Got them bedded in, now to not drive basically at all until the day of. My old rotors were still within spec if just barely at 21.5mm with a min of 21mm, about a quarter left on the Hawk HPS 5.0s after 20k miles. I was going to keep the same rotors and swap between the OEM S pads and the PSA pads using the cool period on the drive to scour the rotors as recommended by some, but I've decided to just grab a second set of the coated rotors and I'll swap them the day before/day after.

Emptied the tools and car parts in the hatch and went on a canyon cruise recently. If you’re in SoCal, I highly recommend checking out the roads around Mount Baldy. 🤘🏼 here’s a clip from N. San Gabriel Canyon Rd CA

Follow car was my coworkers Mustang Gt. * I don’t condone the over the line.

I just put those on my rims* too, how do you like them?
Initial impressions are good, moving to 16 from 17 inch wheels made a huge difference in comfort. Better initial turn in than the Indy 500s I had, almost certainly better grip at the limit but I didn’t get a chance to push them as hard as I wanted on the way to work this morning.

Amen to that. Wish I had gone to 16s way sooner instead of sticking with 17s for 6 years and 3 sets of wheels!
