In preparation for my Turbosmart boost gauge vent install - I had to figure out where else to put the AP (it was on the pillar with a ProClips mount). Yes, I know the gauge is redundant but I don’t always have the AP plugged in. Besides now I can free up that gauge on the AP for something else.

EDIT: it looks like the AP blocks the fan control but from where I sit, it’s not in the way. It doesn’t block anything. I actually prefer this position over it being mounted on the pillar. The screen is closer to me and it’s easier to adjust on the fly. The articulation is still possible, as well. Now to get that boost gauge installed.

That tax refund came in clutch. BC coilovers, DNA control arms, Powerflex rear coil pads and Eibach front/rear sway bar kit going on the car soon.
I already know you like BC's. Will be very interested in your feedback with them on the FiST as I've been considering them myself. Were you needing control arms anyway and went with DNA or going for the full handling package?

Threw a Razo pedal on. I mostly wanted to move the pedal a bit to the left but not add any more depth since I like the throttle to be even with my brake when its under pressure. The pedal came with spacers that make quite a big difference, but I found no spacers was best - heal toe braking is sooo much more confident now, highly recommend for the like $25 or whatever it cost me. (excuse the mud, its winter)
that looks great, did you go with the RP81 small or the RP82 large and did you drill it in or use the straps? been looking for an option for awhile but still haven't committed.

With all the iffy stuff I've been finding on my car I thought it would be a good idea to freshen up the control arm bushings and the DNA control arms seem to get the highest ratings in terms of durability. I almost bought into the swift spring upgrade but since I never did it on the CRZ i opted for the standard BC spring rates. The sway bar and coilovers will provide the most handling benefit but I'm curious what benefit Ill see with the control arms since the CRZ never got anything of that sort. I also like the fact that all the bushings and ball joints on the DNA control arms are serviceable.

I got the small and IMO its perfect, especially if you're already used to the tiny OEM pedals on the Fiesta. And just the straps, the way it mounts is super solid so I have no worries about it coming loose, and I figured if I hate it its easy to remove then...but I don't see that happening anytime soon

This is a great piece to move the Throttle pedal.... ive dealt with pedal covers that have come loose at very inopportune moments.

I hope you upgraded the bolt if not good chance it will snap with time.
I have the bolt. Didn't have the 21mm wrench at time of install. Going to put it on when I double check the bolt tightness in about 100 miles or so

What were the symptoms that led you to the upper mount?
Heard that squeaking sound almost every accel/decel. Saw some other members' symptom videos and they determined it was the upper mount and it sounded similar to what I've been hearing

If it’ll help, I’ll do the overview post. Waiting on the vent and reference adapters. From everything I’ve looked at regarding the install, I wouldn’t recommend doing the basic T adapter setup. Too risky to cut into the line. That line is very expensive to replace. And a lot more potential for leakage. Whereas the reference adapter (or boost tap as Whoosh calls it) can be easily removed or replaced and doesn’t permanently cut into anything.

We’re you running an aftermarket RMM before?

I’ll definitely keep you posted. Excited to do it. I’ve had that gauge sitting for 2 years. I bought some parts off of a guy and he threw it in. I mostly want to do it as an excuse to work on my car. 😂
