Some of the prices you guys get for tint blows my mind. I'm looking at 400-500 from various shops for high thermal rejection but they don't offer much of anything below $300-350
I paid $500 for ceramic tint, no windshield or sunroof. If I had to do it over again I would have gotten those done at the same time. The guy does amazing work and warranties his work for a couple years, it was worth paying a little more IMO. Plus the guy gave my family a discount after they mentioned me. The windshield is the only place I feel heat from at this point. I live in Texas so tint is a must, even in 100 degree heat the AC hardly works after 5 minutes of full blast.

Checking brake pads and other shit today getting ready to do some work on it when the weather warms up. I think I’ve got the record for most miles on my original brake pads. Bought the car new May 2017 and 73k miles later I’m still on my original pads and rotors. Have maybe 10% left on the pads.

New shift knob. Brother’s Tuning knob and shift plate ordered though I’ve only put on the knob so far. To be fair, this is really my first manual vehicle and my first time customizing this part of things but it’s exactly what I wanted. Actual fit and finish is really nice and I love the weight and characteristics of it being metal. Reverse lockout is removed with the shift plate but just the knob they offer accommodates the factory setup totally fine.

Met up with some fellow FiST owners in the Phoenix area. We had about 10 cars show up total, however as people came and went, I was only able to get pictures of about 7 cars at a time.

We hit a car show that was around 150 cars on the North side of Phoenix. The Home Depot theme song is playing in my head looking at this picture. :ROFLMAO:

I removed my Spec-D taillights and sent them back for a warranty issue, hence why I have my stock taillights installed for now.

Anyways, good times with good people this weekend! [twothumb]

This is impressive! Mine were down to 30% (or less) in 22k. Then again, I do like coming into turns hot.

Wait until a VERY HOT Sunny day and you go to grab the shifter ball after getting in. I'd be looking for something to cover it. Unless you like doing a Home alone movie scene repeatedly.

WOW! Here I thought that I was the exception with ~37K on the factory brakes due to; no open track/autocross, very little 'canyon carving', and ALWAYS disabling the nannies as much as the button allows, every time I get in the car, even if it is; wet, icy, or snowing on the roads.

Mine will not last much longer, let alone until my next inspection in August, so I am just waiting until Ron releases his rotors to do the brakes. [wink] [thumb]

Wat. New rotors or a new front rotor kit?

Also I just realized how curved my pad material/backing plate is on that dead pad. Yeah, I put those brakes through hell that day.

130 mile round trip to work when I got the car of which 126 miles was highway. I basically never touched the brakes lol

I live in Mn and my boomba ball would get alittle hot....But the stock shifter was the worst for being in direct sunlight on a very hot day. I would sometimes take my sunglasses bag and put it over it....but sometimes I would forget and I would become a sticky bandit for a quick second.
