What did you do to your Fiesta ST today ?

Got the Mountune MP215 installed on my FiST. Highest PSI I've seen is 23.5. Car definitely feels peppier, it's subtle but noticeable. I definitely like it. You can tell it improves the entire powerband or at least feels as if it does. I've driven a FiST with the Cobb Stage 1 93 octane and this feels comparable, although I do miss the torque limiter being removed from 1st / 2nd gear. I'm running 93 octane which helps a bit I'd assume. Randy said that the dyno they posted for the mp215 was with 91.

Dealership gave me no issues with the install and handled the registration for me. There was a scratch on the hood of the car when I got it back but they took care of it without question - scratch was completely removed and looks like when I dropped it off. Charged me $100 for install which from what I read is pretty good considering I've seen some around $150 and as high as $250 for the full install. Also got the MP215 on Black Friday sale so all and all, I'm happy. :)
Awesome

OK guess I can hold out alitte longer.

Honestly....Nothing really visually obvious...I think it addresses some minor functionality issues....

For the guys putting new studs with the impact gun method.... you can stretch the studs this way and compromise them.
With this I would agree.
However if you set your impact gun to a lower setting so that it just draws and stop just before it seats, you can prevent this.
The final seating should be done with a torque wrench set just below the OE setting.
In addition if you use only ARP replacement studs with 190,000 pound tinsel strength, stretching is also very unlikely.

I used a washer under a long threaded open end quality lug nut on a low setting on my gun as well and have pounded them hard at the track, many sessions, over the curbs all the time, over rumble strips a few times, 15x9 wheels with 225 RA1 tires, if they were going to be an issue I am sure it would show up by now, those ARP studs are tough buggers.

I would of preferred to do the fronts as the rears were done, bench press, just did not have the time to take it all apart again but I am sure I am good to go for whatever I through at the car, even when I start running A7 tires for TT events.

What did you do to your Fiesta ST today?

Dyno'd the car one last time. Made 233whp 257tq

Stg3 OTS 93 tune vs poor tuned vs intercooler upgrade with fair tune and E30

My buddies bone stock focus ST made 218whp and 246 (or 248 ) torque right after my car ran.

Dyno temp was 76 degrees. I'll have to double check the logs, but I think it was only running 25.5psi peak. But i'll double check tomorrow.

Made a dead pedal with some scrap stainless steel that I shaped to match the floor space, then polished it up, and glued on bars made from 1/4" thick rubber sheet. I applied industrial strength velcro, and installed it.

Got my reply back from the dealership:

"I spoke with our field service engineer. Test drove another Fiesta ST. The clutch pedal switch has a heavier actuator which makes noise. It is a normal characteristic of the car. The other Fiesta ST did the same thing. Even the Focus St we drove also did it as well.
Nothing to be concerned about with your car."

So looks like every Fiesta, and Focus for that matter, ST makes this sound. Which I just don't believe. I'll be taking to another dealership and seeing what they say. I think this is just ridiculous. I drove a Focus ST and nothing clicked on the clutch.
I'll be happy to open up a new case for you, if you'd like. Just send over your updated mileage, verify your best daytime phone number, and let me know the preferred dealer name/location. :D

I would but is that really going to change anything if I go to the same dealership? Aren't they just going to say the same thing?

Give Meagan a chance. She's done awesome work with other FiST owners by mediating between the customer and the dealership. I'm certain she will help make sure your concerns are resolved based on what I've seen previously.

It's not her I'm doubting. She's helped me through this whole thing. But the dealership told me earlier this week it's a problem all STs counting the focus has. Which I find to be ridiculous. And I would just put some lube on it but it's the principal. They need to take care of it. There's no way it's a common problem.

The clutch pedal in my FiST makes a clicking sound. I'm not aware of it unless I focus on it.

Once the case has been escalated up to the CSM's, the conversations and decisions made between them and the dealers are out of my hands. It's entirely your call if you'd like me to open a new case on this. I also recommend getting a second opinion at another dealer. I see your message in my inbox. :)
