Took it up to Height Of Land, on Route 17 in Roxbury/Rangeley Lakes, Maine, and then on to Oquossoc, Maine ;

Then back to register and pick up my NEFR; ID card/lanyard, rally plate, and worker volunteer shirt at Sunday River South Ridge Lodge, and to get a few pics of the rally cars in the main service area;

Barry McKenna's only Mk8 actual Fiesta WRC (but with no paddle shifters, only floor shifted sequential);

Two of the only Mk8 R5/Rally 2 class Fiestas in the country;

Lucy Block's Mk7 R2 Fiesta, Open FWD class;

...and her hubby's new Scoobieroo;

Some more older Mk7 R5 Fiestas;

Manxman David Higgins is piloting, (for this event at least) this also only one in the land, early Mk7 Fiesta WRC;

As far as I've seen so far, from the entry list, and wandering around the service area, this is the ONLY Mk7 Fiesta 'proto' (Fiesta outer body/unibody, with a tuned mid-year 1st gen Mitsu Evo drivetrain/powertrain) here;

If I were there, I'd probably be in the pokie for trying to so called Test drive 1 and definitely never take it back πŸ˜†.

If I had Bezos type coin, I would have at least an R5 level (but probably a WRC Rally 1 level!) tarmac spec Fiesta built, and do whatever is necessary to legally drive it on the street, even if that meant building it sans cage, and moving to a state where I could somehow register and insure it! There are so many Fiestas entered that it is almost a Ford parade instead of the usual Scoobie Doo parade at these things. [:)]
There is even a single Escort Cossie RS/WRC entered, but I did not see it in the service park.
I REALLY wish I could have made it this year. As a former Subaru fanboy myself it was getting old only seeing Subarus at rally events, it's good to hear the Fords are taking over.

If I had F-you money, I'd put the RS engine and drive train in a Mazda 5.

I see that now since you pointed it out, my eyes [emoji102] are not what they used to be. Or I may not have had my glasses on.

Also sucks about that accident I have been there before. Glad you are ok hopefully the car can be repaired. Time for some upgrades, Mountune radiator, carbon fiber hood, euro spec headlights, new intercooler, haha

I always run a dashcam now after being hit so many times here in LA.
