Also full of idiots that attempt it. Cause yee-haw. 4000 dead per year - 10% of the US total. Everything is bigger here, including the death toll.
Just saying we got long flat roads. It's not really where the fiesta shines unless you have a turbo upgrade.

I'd love to take the FiST on US long flat sweeping high speed corners.. biggest problem with the roads here in Australia is they are fucken rough. Gotta be ready for mid corner bumps.. if you're on the cutting edge it's enough break traction and send you over a cliff face or into the trees..

Most of my car money the last 2 years has been going into 3 Jeeps. A '97 4.0 ZJ for the wife to daily, a '98 5.9 ZJ project toy, and my '98 XJ winter beater/dog transport.

FiST is a baby @84k miles compared to the 218k, 175k, and 358k miles respectively on the Jeeps.

That's why they say JEEP stands for Just Empty Every Pocket*

Got the new RT660s installed. Definitely will need to make some ride height adjustments. As the springs have settled and the wider profile of these tires, they pretty much all rub. So I'll get it up on the QuickJack and get that done.
Looks downright EVIL with the Superturismo LMs! [twothumb]

The fiesta is definitely the baby in our fleet too at only 34k. Over 350k on your XJ is dang impressive. Mine just hit 214k and I'm hoping it's still strong after I repair the oil pressure issues.

Got it for 'free' couple years ago from the BIL. Needed a new battery, brakes, and block back exhaust along with little odds and ends (lights, radio, etc.). All in I'm $750ish into it and couldn't be happier with how it runs.

Crazy thing about it is it has been a Chicago Jeep the entire time and the floorpans are just now starting to rot. I'll get another 3 years at least thanks to rust converter and flex seal [emoji1787]

As far as yours goes, swap in a new pressure sensor and see what that does.

Mopar sensor - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004W41GRQ
Oil sensor socket - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002SR2RY

Fiesta got to sit for one more day before my vacation is over and back to 60 miles daily on her.

Not sure on my end, it’s my first Turbosmart. However the company mentioned they hadn’t seen something like it before from a brand new unit. They’re sending me the part though for free, which is nice because the solenoid just unscrews with a 11mm wrench

Well congrats. You are the only one to ever have this happen!! Unless you’re like me and don’t believe that.

yeah I don’t necessarily care whether or not I am, or if they tell that to every customer who reaches out. My main concern is getting the new part 😉

Tossed the FiST up on the QuickJack today and worked through resetting ride height. Much better now. It looked great, but every tire was rubbing. I think I have it setup where there is no scrubbing even under compression. I'll find out for sure at the track tomorrow.

Also installed the Muteki SR48 lugs. I wasn't sure how I felt about the look at first, but once I got them all on and the car back on the ground, I like them.

Was over at a buddies house today and we got a hail warning for the area, so naturally the FiST got a spot in the garage too!

The hail storm that came through ended up being pretty nasty!

Once I order an S280 for my car, we'll have a few YouTube videos of us roll racing my FiST and his Ferrari 458, you know.....for science. ;)
