Basically, easy. Use the boomba video with a couple caveats....

Make sure the white trim clips come with the side panels. They may stay in the hole. Lube them LIGHTLY with white lithium grease or silicone di-electric grease to make it easy to remove the trim pieces again...an acid brush will do fine.

Use a bent scribe to undo that latch people keep breaking. They are lifting it too far or prying it sideways. I used one of my harbor freight orange scribes with a double bend on it. Simple. It doesn't need to lift up but 1 or 2 mm.

I did not need to chamfer the retaining rod. It already was on my 2019. I used a small rubber hammer and it went back in w/o an issue. The retaining clip will look like you can't get it lifted out. You can once you force it...lol

Not sure why they said to clip the corner of the reverse lockout. I left mine as is and it work flawlessly. Having said that, I did have to trim down the edges INSIDE the factory lockout assembly (tube) with a razor knife bc it was hitting the shaft's base where it increases in size and hangs up. If it doesn't make sense, just bend the upper boot portion out of the way and slide only the bottom portion on. You will feel that it catches.

Lube everything up with white lithium grease, especially the retaining rod. Then, be smart and lube I think that covers it.

Great info thank you! It showed up today so I'll be giving it a go tomorrow. Mine is a 19 too so hopefully I have similar results.

Edit again, nevermind I found how to adjust it.

For sure, do you need the send them the OEM wheel first?
No not at all. Production takes 6 to 8 weeks so it would be really hard to get around without a steering wheel. They have a core return program where you can send your steering wheel to them after and you will receive $75 back.

Imho, Don't adjust if you do NOT have the short shift adapter. It's on the most reduction.

I have the whoosh adapter which is the same as the boomba I believe. So they should work well together. I’ll be leaving it at max, just wasn’t sure how they shipped it, but I found out in a post they made a while back.
Thanks

Mine is the fswerks, set on max. I'm not liking it so far. First is so short, I'm second guessing whether it's in gear. I will probably move it to the minimum.

Edit: oh gawd, what an idiot...I completely forgot to adjust the cable...it might have helped if Boomba included that in their video...

Put in my whoosh symposer delete. Was not looking forward to it since most everyone says it is a pain in the d!ck, but it only took about 10 mins.

I found that a PB Blaster cap fits in the other end pretty much perfectly. It is very snug and I did not need to use a clamp. Was pleasantly surprised. I can not pull it back out without breaking it. It actually might last a while! I’m sure the plastic cap will get brittle and break after a while though?

Installed the custom SoCal Garage Works flat bottom steering wheel. It took 8.5 weeks including shipping but worth the wait. I'm  this and feels great in the hands!!! The wheel has Carbon fiber and Alcantara with grey top line and sticking. The steering wheel button cover was painted separately with Metallic Tuxedo Black when my bumper and hood was repainted. You'll need the zip ties with mounts when transferring the cables from the OEM steering wheel to the new steering wheel. I was able to purchase locally at O'reilly Auto Parts and also the precision screwdriver set for the T8 screwdriver.

I got the boomba shifter installed along with their shifter base bushings. Just like flbchbm said it was pretty easy. I did not have to trim the reverse lockout, it worked perfectly as is. Didn't have to chamfer the retaining rod either.

Once I got it all together I was happy with it but had a hell of a time getting into first gear. All other gears were fine but 1st was fighting me big time. I adjusted the shifter, removed my whoosh shift adapter and tried it without and no dice, still fighting me to get into first. I reinstalled the whoosh adapter and reset the shifter at max and came in to check and see if I did something wrong when I saw flbchbm edited his post with more info. I ran out and tried it... flbchbm I owe you a beer! It shifts like butter after doing that procedure! No problems getting into first. Its perfect. I cant thank you enough I never would have found that info!

In more alarming news, I noticed this inside of my intake tube was pretty dirty. I have the raimair filter in the stock air box and I noticed the top of it was covered in dirt. See pic below. I'm pretty alarmed by this. I put the stock paper filter back in for now. I have the velossa tech big mouth so I'm wondering if the pressure it creates is allowing the filter to lift and allow dirty air to pass around it. Maybe the ram air filter doesn't quite fit perfectly allowing it to lift. Anyone else see anything like this?

Today I installed a short shifter and what a difference it makes! The shifts are so short that sometimes I feel like I'm not fully in gear, but I am. I also removed the plastic backing of the lower portion of the upper grill, hoping that"ll help with heat soak and airflow

Installed LED lights in the other Fiesta tonight. MUCH faster install since I knew what I was doing this time. :)

Front overhead lights stayed on after locking the doors and I was like WTF. Mentioned to the wife to remind me to check on them in 10 minutes, then it dawned on me I may have pressed the ON/OFF buttons while installing the new bulbs, sure enough. Phew.

Also noticed the hatch paint flaking off near the outside of the middle trim panel where the Ford logo is located....ugh. Car is less than 2 years old and only 15k miles. I imagine that will be covered by warranty?
