First tire rotation @5,876 miles and two weeks short of one year from purchase.

The full side is lifted using the harbor freight crossbar on my low profile alum harbor freight jack. It makes quick work of it.

installed this. noticed nothing different as ive been saying since the beginning. and im going to say since my car is a 2017 it must be upgraded to the older years cause ive had three different mount set ups and only difference is a minor change in nvh and a very small difference in shifter feel. night and day? nope

Must suck being as miserable and rude as you. No wonder why you've been fired in the past. Yeah I don't think the same, but I do think you're an asshole.

I've been dealing with lazy sorry assholes at work all week. Then I got to deal with upset always negative no matter what assholes on here so once in awhile I'm going to vent.

Sorry just the way it is. On my scale that's about a 1 out of 10.

It's been a while! Today I finally caught up to present day on the forum (haven't been on since about March) and I have to say, I'm itching for new goodies! A few days ago I too tripped and accidentally bought new Black housing Euro projectors (purchase attempt #2) and Osram LED taillights. The shipping will be a while, but I can't wait. A few weeks ago I got around to replacing the cabin air filter and swapped my summer stock wheels and tires on. I forgot how little grip these "summer" tires have. I also removed my Auxbeam LED bulbs from the stock headlights as I couldn't live with the guilt of having an LED bulb in a trash reflector.

I got the street spec whoosh rmm and it’s a very noticeable improvement over stock. I have a 2014 with 60k.

I got my raceseng shift extender 100 with shift solutions slim reverse lockout installed. Extension is a very nice looking option imo. I’ll eventually get a sphere knob to complete the set up but it has to be derlin. AZ summers in a black car with a steel knob = sucky burny hand times. Trying to find a good option for a weighted derlin. Raceseng has some but they’re also pretty pricey. So the Cobb derlin will do for now even though it’s not very aesthetically pleasing.

I personally think that the Cobb looks pretty damn good on that! [thumb]

It has that old(er) school sequential floor shifter look to it. [cool]

I might even try that extender, with the Ford Performance faux carbon knob currently on the car.
How much hassle to get that shift solutions lockout on the setup?

Thank you! Well it’ll be up for sale when I get a new one! Lol Ya it’s my own thing I’m seeing, I don’t like the drawn down tear drop style of the Cobb. I think something more of a full sphere will look and feel better in the hand.
Raceseng has these extenders on clearance for $25 which is a steal for a quality raceseng part. It you need a slim lockout to run it. The lockout wasn’t bad. I popped of the plastic over trim, pulled the boot off and replaced the large stock plastic lockout with the shift solutions one. Fit is great. Hardest part was removing the stock lockout. There’s 2 tabs on each side that are a pain to release.
The carbon knob would look really good I’ve always liked that one.

Looks awesome! This is the route I was going to go until the coolerworx came along and ruined everything. I bought the same raceseng extender a year ago at full price and now its a paper weight ouch. I personally think the STI Cobb knob is the best feeling knob out there. I’ve used it on a few different cars. I had the Ford Cobb knob on the fiesta and its larger since our reverse lockout is larger. But now that you have the extender i would swap for the white Cobb STI knob. Would break it up a little and i bet feel much better too.

Today, at 8500, I did my own first oil change switching to full synthetic. Dealer had done one at 7500 right before I bought it but I also noticed the oil was overfilled according to the dip stick. So wanting full synthetic and proper lever, I made the change.
I've done my own oil changes for several years on my wife's and my car. Who knows how much money I've saved seeing as a 5qt jug is around 22-25 versus 50 to 70 at oil change places. Plus, I know how much was put in. I use pennzoil platinum in the FiST and Castrol edge in her BMW.

I have done the oil changes on our FiST from the day I bought it brand new. Every 5 thousand kilometres. Filter and oil. Can not trust Ford here in Australia.. They are bad. IMO. I fixed all the Coolant leaks myself. Stuff ford.. I gotta do my brakes myself too because they inflate the prices hardcore.. They will put some dumb little first year apprentice on it and fkn wreck it plus charge me thousands. Not happening.

Yeah I worded that poorly. I meant the first change in this car for me. I’ve also always done my own oil for years and years. Except for my wife’s new Flex we’ve had for a year and a half or so.

Ive had a Tacoma for over the last 10 years now and I love being able to just slide under that thing to drain. It’s a slight pain to have to go back to jacking up a car to change oil. I had a Fox body mustang, 96 Cobra and Merkur XR4ti in the past that of course I had to jack up but the Tacoma has been a nice change for oil change ease. Oh well, small price to pay for low performance car.

Appreciate the input! I’ve heard the coolerworx is pretty incredible, but I can’t justify the cost yet....down the road I’ll revisit. I was looking at that one, I definitely am wanting white derlin outer. Only thing is it’s not weighted, which I don’t mind too much but I do like a bit of chunk. But if I don’t go weighted I’m just going to pick up a white killer B wrc round knob. Super affordable and classic sphere look. I wish more company’s would make hybrid knobs with derlin outer and steel inside. We don’t all live in a tropical paradise with perfect weather!! Some of live in hell!

Front mounting points tore apart after going through some water at speed the other night and started to drag in the ground. Was already damaged a little as you can see.

This is an awesome setup-so to clarify,if any an comment-if I wanted to replicate this with a stock knob would I order the slim lockout adapter or standard?
