NICE! [thumb]

I will have to consider those, and that mounting technique, if the ARA brings back many night stages to their events in the future (IF there is even any ARA/U.S. rallying left after this mess we're in [:(]). [wink]

Back in the 'old days', almost HALF of STPR's and Maine Forest Rally's (now NEFR) were after sunset.

Thanks!

I was pleasantly surprised at how small and light the lights were. I was going to build a bracket but this seems sturdy. Time will tell.

Why did you remove the hood strut kit?

One got bent in the crash. And the other makes it impossible to open the fuse box without breaking the lid. In thinking of selling the kit. Btw after the crash my replacemenr hood and my latch dont seem to be playing well. It doesnt spring up like it used to. Wonder if i need a new latch mechanism.

Things are never perfectly straight after a crash. Hell, they're not always perfectly straight from the factory.
I suggest that you find another Fiesta (doesn't have to be an ST), and compare them. That might help you see where yours is off.

I know the latch support is still bent up. That wasnt replaced ( and im ordering a replacement tomorrow. It may be throwing it off just enough. I also know its a cheap repro hood.

Look at the alignment as it closes. Might be able to move it a lil with some force. I had a q45 some dip shit lady backed into me while waiting to leave a parking lot. Hooked up a big ratchet tie down to it and a tree. Pulled the latch right out so the hood could latch closed. Pulled it like 4 or 5 inches.

Ive adjusted as much as it will let me currently. The latch support is twisted a bit. Not something i csn easily bash back. If a new support doesnt fix it, more reason for carbon fiber hood. Lol

New license plate lights came in.
LED bulbs in stock housing on left, LED replacement panel on right.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/173976837399

I bought the panels because the clip on one of the stock housings broke off and the other was about to. New housings were $7 each, so $12 for the panels was a no brainier.

Holy hell these are bright. Visible in today's bright sun.
