What did you do to your Fiesta ST today ?

Finally got my bulbs, splitter, and rear torsion beam stiffener installed. Pretty happy even though it took most of my afternoon to figure out why one of my headlights still had hyperblink (the colored wires were seemingly chosen randomly on my passenger side, had to look at a pin diagram to figure out where I needed to splice in).

Sylvania SilverStar Ultra's for the low beams, Diode Dynamics for the switchback LED 6000k turn signals and 6000k fog light LEDs.

How do the sylvanias look with the 6000k led fogs? Is the color somewhat close? Also, what LED fogs do you have?

Picture is at the top of the page (or bottom of the previous), LED fogs are also from Diode Dynamics. Here's a shot i took in the dark last night.

The SilverStars are close but not perfect, if you could find a 5000k LED it would be much much closer. I think the SilverStar Ultras are around 4700k in color temperature, if I recall.

Not painful at all. Just follow D1JL instructions and you can't go wrong; however, for the 2016 ST, I had to use a Micro2 Fuse tap, instead of the standard fuse tap like the 2014 ST. Also, I tapped into F22, and not F21 like D1JL instructions, as the F21 slot in the 2016 ST is blank 😊.

I know this is an old post did you have to run a hub spacer? Thinking about getting these wheels and running 215/40 tires just trying to make sure they fit good before buying. Thanks

No need to run spacers with them... unless you want them more flush. Could probably take a 5mm spacer up front and 10mm out back.

I am using Phillips LED Bulbs from XenonDepot. I also have Luxeon LED Fogs from Diode Dynamics on the side 😊.

Intervals for draining the can will vary greatly based on how you drive the car and where you live. We recommend checking it every one or two thousand miles in the beginning to see how much it is catching. After that you can judge to see how far you can go between servicing. We put the glass window on the side in order to help with seeing the contents.

Added some decal overlays from TFB designs. Like the new look, but they were dreadfully painful to install. Fitment was eh as well. The stickiness wasn't that great, had to add a bit of glue on the front emblem overlay to keep the edges down. Overall happy with the look but the price I paid for the lower quality was no bueno.

Installed a Pierce 2 pt brace and torsion brace. Cheapo $20 Harbor Freight electric impact made it easy to remove the bolts.

I'll do the strut brace tomorrow, and a full day back road drive to evaluate on Thursday.

Just noticed today some horse's ass hit my fender over the weekend. I popped 90% of the dent out with my hands, but get to hone my PDR skills some more, I guess.

Got my car out of storage now that the salt is gone and after a little back road shakedown, started doing some disassembly in preparation for my many goodies on their way from [MENTION=1098]DHM[/MENTION] also discovered my maf sensor plug had a busted wire, so I ordered a new connector from Rock auto.

Saw a technique where you heat up the dent with a hair dryer (or heat gun), then spray with compressed air aerosol can, held upside down, until the dent just pops back to original! Don't know if it works on dents you've tried to fix by hand, though.

Wasn't so lucky, unfortunately. I heated the area to 200f with a heat gun and tried ice water then the canned air trick a couple of times.

No worries. I have this cheap kit I got off ebay a couple years ago to remove some hail damage. Works pretty well for what it is.
