Perfblue15 how did you like big willow? any "oh shit" moments? I just figured such a small car on big willow could make for some interesting moments at higher speeds.
Honestly the whole first session was sketchy learning turns 8 and 9 and learning to trust the car with the new tire set up. I did manage to drift through turn 9 once at about 100 by early apexing and the lifting off the gas and inducing a serious high speed drift (the instructor and i nearly shit ourselves on that one) after that one I learned how to properly take turn 9 lol. otherwise it was a blast. On turns 1-6 these cars are unbeatable I put lengths on mustang GT'S, porshes, you name it in that section but when horsepower was a factor it kinda sucked because I had to point almost everyone by. (yay no ethanol by the track 91 octane tune ftl) I totally recommend big willow to anyone with a Fiesta st though it's stupid fun once you get a rythme and momentum going in these cars.

Haha i was surprised when this guy was holding me up. At least he was cool enough to give me the point around. There were a couple mustang GT'S that got black flagged for not letting me by. With a capable driver on a good line this car is a weapon the way I have it set up.

Thanks it was a freaking blast and free since I helped set up the event with the Galpin Auto Sports Crew. I may go again in a few weeks with the cobra club(if the gas crew invites me again).

The tires for the price are amazing. The car is literally stuck like glue on track and on the street with these tires. They did get ride of a lot of the lift oversteer the car used to have but I like that a lot it makes for a more confident feeling at the edge. The held up on track extremely well at 35 psi, they would hold up for about the first 15 minutes of the session then slowly fall off from there. They get greasy but not to the point of being unmanageable. The only real downfalls are they make a lot of road noise and they are a 140 tread wear tire which means they won't last long. For 89 dollars a tire I will be buying them. Again.

Very true my friend. After my session with the instructor and learning the line around the course I became the fast driver in the slow car lol. The viper was my favorite point by of the day. I just hated having to let everyone pass me down the back straight because I had the lowest hp car on course lol.
So you stuck with them in the turns but not in the straights? For obvious reasons. Sorry just don't really know track lingo like point around. Although I'm sure it's exactly what it says.

Exactly. The rule is you have to let the faster guy by. Even if you are the guy in a big car with a big engine and faster down the straight you have to let the little car with the little engine by because your holding him back in the corners.( and i mean let him by your told to lift off when giving point by's its not drag race lol.) It makes the event much more fun for us slow guys.

Broke the studs from the stock downpipe to the cat back exhaust yesterday... Going to try and get them out today with a stud extractor, if all else fails this morning, calling up a shop to have it done.

I snapped one off myself, drilled it out... Not fun.

Just make sure it's centered on the stud, or you'll be breaking drill bits like I did, pita, ended up just running a 1/4 SS bolt through gave up on trying to get a 7/16 drill bit through it, holding fine with some washers then again I did this on the ground without a lift. :(

Welp, gave up after about 30minutes of little to no progress, called up a shop, drove the mufflerless FiST there and had them knock out the studs for me in all of 5 minutes, cost me $40.

So, today I put on my map exhaust, Pierce front tower strut brace, trunk brace, eibach rear sway bar, and a no-piston's evap canister skid plate. Not bad!

Pierce 2 point tie bar and rear torsion beam stiffener go on next. Then we're getting the intercooler, AP, and skipping straight to stage 3 custom tuned! Wee!

Dropped it at the dealership because MFT was unresponsive and the stereo wouldn't turn off. Got to take this fancy whip home though:

Quickly realized how much bigger than the FiST the Focus is. Also have a new-found appreciation for our brakes, steering, and throttle response.

Just installed my Mishimoto OCC, during the install I noticed something funny. I received two of the 90 degree bend hoses. I messaged them so hopefully get a replacement hose asap.

Had on as a rental for about a week while the ST was in the shop. I could not wait to get the Fiesta back. What a horrid transmission the Focus had.

Oooo, must have been that awesome PowerShift. [emoji53]
I believe that's what this one has. My girlfriend test drove a '12 a few weeks back, and the salesman was telling us how smooth and awesome the dual clutch system was supposed to be. So far, I'm not so impressed with this '15. Seems a bit...stupid. I'm probably biased, but damn do I miss rowing my own gears. On the way to work this morning I was actually yelling "SHIFT DAMMIT SHIFT".

My GF bought a used '13 Focus w/ the PowerShift. Dealer did the fix(new seals and some other bs). Just as bad as ever. I feel bad I was influential in her getting it. Didn't know about this pos tranny before she got it. BIG FUP by Ford!

Today I had my CM Buildz exhaust and ATP downpipe converted into true 3 inch exhaust. No more 2.25 reduction ftw. I noticed miniscule performance gains but this is in prep for a big turbo at the end of the month. I plan to work with @cm Buildz to bring yet another turbo option to the Fiesta market.
