Welp gents, I did a bad thing today.
Traded the Fiesta in for a 2011 GT.
Didn't intend to do this, just happened to walk around the dealers this last weekend, saw it/test drove it and fell in love.

OMG Colin, what have you done. I'm in shock!.
I just had to run out into the garage, kiss my ST on the fender, polish the exhaust tips and have quick flap or what ever you guys call it and whisper into the sound symposer "everything is going to be all right baby".
Your supposed to trade the other way buddy. Anyway, what ever makes you happy. Glad to see you stuck with a Ford.
Do Mustang guys have Forums, can they type?. [limphand]

20140615_200250_kindlephoto-15406982.jpg 20140615_200305_kindlephoto-15431763.jpg Did it yesterday but I made the factory antenna into a defacto shorty ant. By cutting it down at both ends of the long thin wrapped part, sanding the two pieces, then using gorilla glue I reattached the shaped end piece onto the base. Overall it came out pretty good imo and it was essentially free which the wifee liked.[twothumb]

The most rewarding ones are the ones you do yourself, not just bolting on, actually making of modifying and then installing it:)

--------------

Today I made a new oval single exhaust tip to fit the whole system I built before, it weighs quite a bit less than a dual tip and will flow a bit better, the oval part was to match the stock Ford emblems the best I could and did not want to have a single round tip.

Then I worked on the new IC install, second DIY IC that is.

And measured for some speaker wire, RCAs, ordered them and some fittings for the brake cooling system I am building and for the sealed CAI I am also building.

In all a pretty light day as been a bit under the weather but at least I worked a few hours on it:)

Fabricated mounts and installed the second IC upgrade, so far, and made the mounts for the oil cooler so it is now installed.

D1JL did you order the armrest from Redline? How simple was the install?

The armrest and boot are from redline goods. Armrest cover wasn't too bad to install but get some small clips to hold it in the corners while you hot glue around the sides.

I really like the redline stuff, was considering that myself. Although since I've got the grey Recaro's I've considered getting them re-stitched with red.

What does that do exactly? Catch the oil vapors so they aren't recycled into the intake?
It just allows any liquid in the PCV hose to be trapped in the can.
