Vibra-technics RMM install fitment issue

I believe the spigot on the end of this bushing should push into the support plate, but it really does not fit. Am I correct that it needs to be pushed in, and if so any advice on how to do it?

Yes you have to press it in with a vice or something and it has to be lined up perfectly it was kind of a PITA.

Thanks, I'll keep at it I guess. Maybe toss the mount in the freezer? It really does not look like it will fit.
