Not really there are few things at play here. One is in Europe and the UK the good headlights came stock . So unless damaged no need to change. Two is roughly 35k is the number of FiST’s built and sold here in U.S.
How many of those are putting Euro projector headlights on their car rather the stock ones.? A small percentage overall.

Not enough to warrant an aftermarket company to make Euro projectors for our cars outside of specialty light companies like Clear Corners.com or they on Forum Northern Lights both of which would either use a U.S. base light to work off ( the only way Clearcorners would do it) or buy the cheaper Euro lights from overseas .

I might add if you want cheap replacements of the stock U.S. headlight they are abundant here because they were used on All Fiesta’s here.
So true. A lot of Fiestas (taking into account non-FiST sales) were sold here in the U.S. though and to your point all had the same headlight. Given that, I'm disappointed that there's basically nothing in the aftermarket. I have considered using my stock headlights and doing a retrofit, but I was hoping for something off the shelf.

Anyone else know of any black housing projector headlight options?

Finally getting around to getting these lights. Ordered some from Cars245 like everyone else. Ordered them Saturday night and got a tracking number this morning so hopefully I'll see them soon

Which H7 LED are you going with? I still need to grab some of those pins to add the add a fuse. I already forgot which ones. Researched too early lol.

If I were to stick with halogen I'd probably get the Osram Nightbreakers. I plan to retrofit these though hopefully in the near future. I want to see how they look first thought before I touch them.

Did you order the Hellas? I've yet to get tracking on mine and ordered them about 2 weeks ago!

Received my euro lights on the 24th friday. Check my build thread for pics.

Making a note on the output because it seems to be a general consensus that it "sucks." The stock output isn't that bad. I went to O'Reillys to get some cheap H7s since it didn't come with bulbs and all things considered its not that bad. I think most people are used to having reflector headlights and not projectors because the cutoff line throws people off into thinking the output is shit. Projectors don't have the natural "bleed" above the cutoff so it messes with the inexperienced.

I'm doing a retrofit mainly because I hate all the chrome and know slapping a HID/LED bulb into it won't be adequate and will have glare. Also just don't want to deal with all the trouble people are having trying to get a LED/HID bulb to fit properly in these housings. Not to mention while I'm in there painting it, I might as well swap over projectors.

Probably a silly question but on the Cars245 link do you add both Art-Nr: 431-11B5RMLD-EM "Ford Fiesta DEPO headlight right" and Art-Nr: 431-11B5LMLD-EM "Ford Fiesta DEPO headlight left" for a full set?

Just got an email from Cars245 that the Hella Projectors are now Out of stock/Out of production and my order is cancelled! [bawling]

So, who has a new in the box or used set in very good condition Hella Projectors that they’d like to sell me asap? ;)(y)

Uh oh when did you order? I placed an order on Sept 16 and haven't heard anything yet.

I ordered them on August 30th, pretty disappointed that it took them this long to tell me that they're NLA.
That means I'll be getting that email too. That's actually why I pulled the trigger on them as well as a turbo, downpipe, manifold..pretty much everything I had on the list. I had a gut feeling this would happen. Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough on these. Very disappointing.

Whats with all the hub bub about the Hellas. Just get the DEPOs. They're perfectly fine
I probably will but from the reading the quality just seemed better and I hadn't read any issues with the adjustments breaking or popping out during shipping with the Hellas. That may have been because more depos/tyc were sold compared to Hellas but I did like the idea of oem quality that's all.

I received my DEPOs unharmed. Adjustments good and all. I think earlier people got problems and cars245 fixed their way of shipping things so its not damaged. It would take alot to damage them with how they shipped now. The DEPOs atleast.

I don't mind paying extra for OEM quality headlights. I've had my fair share of cheap aftermarket headlights that either fail or get moisture inside which drives me crazy! I'm hardly saying that the Depo's have that issue, but my interest mainly lies in OEM quality that I can bolt to my car and never have to be concerned about again, especially considering the importance of headlights for safety.

Now I'm on the hunt for an overseas source of either OEM Ford or Hella's if I can't find some stateside. I like a challenge. [thumb]

I thought about doing this but prior to knowing about cars245, Ive done this. Best bet would be to find a German Ford parts dealer. From my understanding they will beam pattern correctly like the Hellas/Depos cars245 sells/sold. Once i get the email and refund Ill probably just buy the depos. I figure I'll be putting headlight armor ppf on them before theyre even installed so should be ok and like TDavis mentioned, at one point in the euro light thread there were a few testimonials praising the packaging vs earlier in the thread quite a few complaints so there is that. If you do find something clue me into it after you get your order in.
