we are shooting for the same approx results with the 30% uprated injectors (no aux kit)
I don't think our plots will look much different in terms of peak HP and TQ other than a smidge quicker boost ramp up from using a better WGA and extruded manifold

I wish that this turbo was available when I went with the 2860R turbo. If it was, I'd a gone with it, since the the turbo is a Turbo Technics unit and they also built the first turbo that Revo put out which was the S242.

I hear you!
This is a great kit and there is more in development
there are other turbos coming from TT as well that are larger such as the S290 in testing now. These are race versions of the current S280. Not replacements but larger versions that will make more power (but spool later as any larger turbo would)

Are you running the injectors on your test car? Will Adam run them before adding aux? I’d love to see those results because they’re a lot less expensive than a 4-port aux setup.

I just acquired a few sets of the injectors. I'm adding them to the orange car with in tank pump upgrade just to see what we can get out of the car without aux fuel. 100 unleaded is the only fuel I use here in Vegas because the 91 is horrible and the e85 is just as bad
The S280 we sent him will be on the stock fuel system then with aux fuel. Not sure what aux he's going to use yet. Maybe our new single port that is supposed to be released by the end of the month

I like the thought of an injector upgrade too
but I think they are more than the single port kit we will have out soon. $600 is the target cost. Don't hold me to that

Glad to hear you’re building a single port. The injectors would make a great option if they work. I’ll keep an eye out for updates.

Its journal bearing I do believe....why isn't it ball bearing? Seems sordove silly since it's new Tech. But I'm sure it will fly around the streets for a bit.

I didn’t know anyone was tuning for larger injectors yet. Either way 4 port provides the fuel that any setup would need whilst cleaning the valves. I don’t know why anyone would spend money on higher flowing injectors and a fuel pump yet be willing to have carbon buildup on the valves. Call me a whack job idk

There are shops in the UK that tune US Fiestas FYI
Our test of larger injectors is not a replacement for 4 port or single port aux for that matter. There was no mention of which is "better" for any reason including valve cleaning. What I did say was we will see what can be done in terms of power w/o aux by adding 30% uprated injectors.
Do you think it's possible to get closer to the 380whp range with aux and e50?

just guessing the S280 is going to cap out at 375whp with aux fuel
you'll know soon!

FYI this is America. Who is tuning for uprated injectors here? No one I’m aware of. So until someone in America is tuning for them, why would anyone buy them?
