Adam, what is the difference between the Turbosmart WA being sold for the FiST by other companies and the WA you are selling....or are they the same and will this one function better specifically on the FiST. I apologize if this has been asked.
It started as a Turbosmart IWG-75 which Adam has then modified with different springs and such.

Exactly, I have tested multiple spring combinations and styles. Mine will come with the proper spring pressure for the stock or cyborg turbo's, and pre-loaded as well for proper boost management.

I want to do this along with an upgraded hybrid turbo. Pumaspeed's hybrids have dropped significantly in price and are cheaper than the cyborg at the moment.

I'm not so sure about that. On their website they go up to $1045 + $131 shipping. That's if you send them your turbo, which would require you to send your turbo to them first, probably another $100-150 if I had to guess. Or if you want to outright buy a turbo from them it's $2070 + $131 shipping.

So I guess it's almost even Either way

I got a used turbo in the for sale section for $250. Got Adams IWG $140 and a used BOV $80. So I'm $470 in and about to send my turbo to skittle for cyborg treatment which is another $1450. So $1920 compared to buying one from puma for $2101

For those of us with MP215 kits this would really not work I'm guessing. Due to the fact that we can not re tune after install. I was considering this a while ago, but decided against it due to the fact that I went with the MP215 and plan to go MR230. Correct me if I'm wrong though

I was under the impression they shipped one to you and you were required to send your unit after the swap. Either way I could handle a bit of down time because because I have other cars to use.

Correct, you can't flash Accessports that are purchased from Mountune. Big bummer in my opinion. You could ask if Randy would adjust for you, but doubt he would.

You would still have to ship your factory turbo back to Puma. I was looking at bringing a few of these stateside but decided it wouldn't be worth it :( .

Adam Tune+ ...

Could you please show (post) the "before and after" boost profiles that correspond the hp/tq curves shown (below)?

thanks!

A lot of you already know, but I have been working on a internal wastegate actuator upgrade with Turbosmart for a bit now. I started with one of their off the shelf units and made changes from there. I tested a few different spring combinations and pre-loads, and landed on a unique combination that works VERY well. Here is an outline of the benefits and dynographs from my personal 2015 Fiesta ST, as well the purchase link.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION, AND TO PURCHASE!

- Consistent, and more predictable boost

- Cures all part throttle boost surging, which is VERY noticeable on Fiesta ST's running higher boost levels

- Prevents boost spike during post-shift recovery, which can cause throttle closures

- Increases high rpm boost levels by 1-3psi

- Flatter torque curve

- 8-10whp

If you have any questions, please post or drop me an email: info@adamtuned.com

Two different parts. What Adam is selling is an internal wastegate (IWG) here's a site that breaks it down. And another explaining what a BOV does. Hope it helps.

I wish I could, unfortunately I did these runs when I was still with MAPerformance and don't have the logs anymore. Next time I go up there to tune their car I'm going to sync all the logs to my dropbox. I also have to get my other computer back up and running so I can access my preferred log viewer for comparison.

Mine is a wastegate, and the shortie is a BOV. My wastegate is actually manufactured by Turbosmart for me, but with my specs. Also, you need to update your signature ;).

So a IWC is worth it more than a BOV?

And is my signature correct now? Haha.

So if I were to get this would I get the full benefit of it without a specific tune?
I have the surging issues at mid throttle.

Also, do you ship overseas? I bet the turbo on the US and EU spec 1.6 EcoBoost engine is the same?!

I've noticed the surge quite a bit and I was looking at this item for a while. Then I saw Adam has TUNE+d it so I had to order it! [8D]
