Hello all, just wondering whether anyone is using the TS Kompact Shortie BPV with the X-37 and how that is working.

Thanks for your help.

I was going to go this route, but for simplicity's sake, I went with the GFB DV+ & it was a smart move. Simple install, holds all the boost you'll ever throw at it, half the price of the Turbosmart and quiet as stock. Check out @wooshmotorsports, they're a new forum vendor and have it on sale for $120 plus they have a 5% off coupon. It's a great deal.

Hey BB, any benefit to a stock FiST? I was talking with skittles a little while ago and I might go for one of his hybrid turbos when I can sell my other car and free up some cash. I figure if I get this GFB DV then I can reuse it after I get the turbo. I live fairly close to both of you guys actually. :)

On a stock turbo, a bit better boost response particularly noticeable in part throttle to full throttle transitions. Smoother power delivery. Main benefit is it will hold over 30 psi of boost and will build boost between shifts a bit quicker. I recommend it especially if you're gonna go hybrid turbo down the line. Stock BOV won't hold up with turbo upgrade and will start to leak boost over 26psi
