Trying to remove rear spoiler... help?

Won't go into the details of how it happened, but I have a very apologetic relative, and a need to remove my rear spoiler to repair a small scratch under it. I removed the six screws and the third brake light, but it doesn't want to come off.

I saw a post about removal, sounds easy, but what am I doing wrong? Does it lift up or does it pull straight back?

Search for the Booba risers. Their install video clearly describes how to remove the spoiler. Maybe a chance to pick them up too.
