After considerable effort I am pretty sure I can make these fit over my DIY BBK as really want a set of 15x8 wheels for my all season tires. I already have ten 15x9 wheels for race tires and summer tires and 3 other sets of wheels I need to sell.

949Racing 6UL wheels

Not a great picture, will find more, these are beautiful wheels and have a lip for those that want one:)

They are all 4x100 bolt pattern and for good reason, so I can buy great wheels for low cost.

I found 17" to be just to damn harsh.

I bought some 16x8 RPF1 wheels, still in the boxes, as did not seem any 15x8's would fit, sending the PRF1 wheels back or selling for the right offer, RMA already in hand for full refund though. The RPF1 cost $219 on sale, weight 14.8lbs, great wheels but I have owned many sets and really wanted 15's far more.

949 sent me a file to print out, I had to try different settings to get it exact, template to check fitment of the 6UL over my BBK, nobody thought it would work but it is very close as my setup is not like anything on the market, I am 99% sure it will work.

If I make this work, already talking to vendors, I might just have some sort of GB on a 4x100 conversion, wheels, BBK, etc for those serious about the best in real performance and need more brakes yet do not have to spend a ton of money. I would prefer to just have this all done by others as I am retired, I am doing this to help make it happen, if anybody wants to go fast and stop well the best way we can:)

With some DIY effort the cost to do this could end up around $2k, BBK, wheels, 4x100 conversion, for those not able to do the work it would not be a huge amount more to make this happen.

-----------------------

I am doing this to my car because I want to but I also want to help my fellow enthusiasts enjoy the incredible benefit of running a super low weight high quality wheel over the biggest BBK that will fit and save money:)

Let me know what you think!
Rick

I will post more pics of course, just give a little time:)

My current BBK up front has the Dynapro 6 piston calipers, aluminum hats, GT race spec rotors, custom caliper mounts...I can easily get caliper mounts custom made for those that need them, all the way to offering a complete package but I prefer to just help our vendors or others as needed get this done for you.

THE ONLY real work is installing the new hubs, this is not a tough mod for those used to such things and a decent shop should have no issues doing the job for a reasonable fee.

--------------

This picture is of the 15x8.

16x7, 16x8 and 16x9 are in the works in the Avanti Storm made by Konig, they will cost around the same, weight a little more, same build quality, likely to be out later in the year. I know because I was in the final planning meeting when they picked the sizes, colors, offsets, etc.....not at Konig, at one of their biggest vendors.

11.75" BBK under 15x9 wheels, unfortunately 15x9 will not fit unless you do some major work like change the rear camber and roll and pull the fenders as much as possible.

Pics have been posted on other threads but wanted to make sure to be seen here as it looks as good as it works:)

15x9 Konig Helix, only that size fits over the brakes in this style wheel.

15x9 looks great but so does 15x8 and works great as well.

Another color in the 15x8 6ul, looks better in person but you can see the lip here at least:)

The tires stick like glue! Big turbo, lag, boost kicks in hard, on a warm day, good road surface, does not even spin the tires, just goes:)

They do look "meaty" I agree and I have to admit I love it but it is no where near the primary reason I have the setup like it is, I want to fast around a race track or in Mexico:)
----------

I wanted the Advanti Storm in 15x9 but they would not fit over my BBK so I bought two sets of the Konig Dial In but only used one set at the track two days then the other set out tires on, took tires off, never ran them as I liked the Helix better, a bit heavier but stronger design.

15x9 Konig Dial In

The 15x8 Storm will not fit this BBK setup, it would have to be 11" rotors which is just to small.

The 16x8 would be perfect over the 11.75" BBK but might fit over the 12.19" rotor setup as well.

It will take some time to see the 16" storm come on the market, it was recently decided to make them, molds have to be done, testing, etc....

-------------

The Enkei RPF1, 16x8, 4x100, fits perfectly over the 11.75" rotor BBK, why I bought them but my heart was on 15x8 wheels so kept working on it.

I would love an Advanti Storm in 16*8" with a BBK.

15" is nice but seems too limiting for the brakes.

I just wish we had the selection and low prices of 15" tires in 16" sizes.

Thanks for the complements:):)

I really put far more into the performance side of the equation but of course like good looks, or what looks good to me at least:)

---------------

I agree, 16's will be easier for BBK, not so many tires to pick from:(

I am going to make my setup do what I want and hopefully will be able to get the 16" setup to work out for the 12.19 rotors.

My original 15x9 wheels.
