I have recommended the Maxxim Winner many times on this forum and at least one member has them or has them on order.

I have a set of Konig Feathers in 17x7, 4x100, 16.8lbs, very well made, great finish, selling them though as going to a smaller diameter.

I also have a set of Konig Dial In, 15x9, 4x100, 12.8lbs, roll formed very good wheels I am selling.

AND, ten of the Konig Helix, 15x9, 4x100, 13.4lbs, roll formed, 6 with race tires, 4 on the car with 225 Rival S tires.

If the 15x8 Helix, Dial in, Avanti Storms, etc fit my BBK I would have 4 of them for all season tires.

I guess I like Konig wheels:)

No guessing, think u may like konigs or just wheels in general! I want to run 15's but I'm not trying to pay big bucks for that setup, I liked the Winners but 16x7 should be good or? Chime on back

The Winner in 16x7 should be a very nice wheel for the money but do not put to wide a tire on it if you want the best steering feedback and response as we need good sidewall support to achieve that.

There are a number of great tires to pick from depending on what you need from them, I start with real specs as in diameter, sidewall and tread width, weight is important as well. Sidewall size numbers are often far from the actual size the tire really is.

---------------

I have different uses for the car that dictates different tires which need the right wheels for the job......track wheels and tires, summer tires, all season tires........22 wheels at the moment, want to get that down to 14 as in the number of tires I have but better yet 10 tires and wheels and I would be happy if I can make that happen:)

So what's a good size then lol, 205/45? I don't have loads of space so I just want something that can save me lbs per corner and be a good 3 season setup, I have winters on Ford Fiesta titanium rims.

To be clear, you cannot go by the 25/45/16, etc....those are arbitrary and often far off from what they might seem to be, you have to look at the real specs mentioned, Tirerack.com does that on all the tires they sell.

There are some great 3 season tires to pick from but more info is needed.

1) Budget
2) How many miles you hope to get out of them
3) Highest performance no matter the cost or best bang for the buck
4) Autocross or HPDE events planned

There are some great 3 season tires made(listed as all season but the best performance ones are really 3 season)

Signing off for the night, up early to move the RV, might not be online much the next two days but that could change, usually does.

Anyone here running Maxxim Winner's? Made by Konig as well, very light.
I have just received a set of Maxxim Winners - 16x7 ET40, 16.7lbs. Even at 20k miles, the stock tires have some life left in them, but I will be wrapping the Winners with 205/45-16 BFG Sport Comp 2 in the next few weeks or so. (also need to source slimmer lug nuts, the stock nuts are too fat)

Silly pre-install "test look" pic:

Would love to see these on, I am going to purchase some lighter wheels/tires in the next week. I want to get these but have only seen them in 15's. How's the fit and finish?

ET40, so fit is perfect to me (not flush, no rub). Finish is perfect

Just curious, not ready to sell yet, but my decision kind of depends on interest, so putting the word out...

Would anybody want to buy a set of 18x7.5 sparco assetto's with 215/35/18 kumho pa31? Probably about 5k miles on them. Tires have about 7/32 tread left. One has slight curb rash, was there when I bought the car, so I don't know the story. I'm more a fan of meaty tires, so looking to go to 16's. Will probably be asking in the 700 range.

I'm pretty sure I'd break my spine within five minutes of driving around DC on those things hahaha
Are you speaking about the 17 inch sparcos a few post up? Because if so, agreed. Haha. Can't wait for my 16 inch wrapped in 225/45 this spring. I definitely feel the difference with my 185/60 winter set up.

FWIW, they're a few pounds lighter than stock wheels, so not nearly as harsh as they look. But definitely not as many sticky options in that tire size. Which is another reason why I'd like to change setups.

Nice find with the KDW's. Had them on my last car and they did everything I asked.
