Oh, shit. Body shop.
You're lucky that was your only problem for drivability.
They fuck your shit up, for the most part.
Good body shops are as rare as good mechanics. Most just want to do it cheap, fast, and charge you a fortune. To hell with quality.

I actually bought the car for $3700. Issues it had at time of purchase was the timing was off and the body damage. Carfax shown the cars been in 4 accidents minus the last one I bought it with. It's been hit once on the front end damaging only the bumper cover and crashbar a bit. Then it's been hit in each corner. The front bumper repair was done not too good so the bumper cover sits a bit loose but I can fix it someday in the future. The other corner repairs were actually done well and I can't find the damage other than the paint job being bad(blend was good but hella orange peel). The last accident being the one I bought it with I brought it to a shop for repair he charged me $1200, then we went back n forth till now. I had Ford dealer redo the timing and everything in it was already brand new water pump belt n everything they just didn't time it right, Ford charged me $2100 in labor. All in $7k I think I got a good deal and the car honestly looks alright now after the repair even tho the body shop did a bad job. It is clean title still so I save a lot on insurance and I plan on tracking the car so paint isn't a concern much for me. In my area it was extremely hard to find one clean title and under $10k. Mine also has 100k miles which is low for my Houston area. I'm glad I could find a tuxedo black as well. Overall I'm happy. Rn bumper is off as I'm getting a hitch welded on soon then I can do my exhaust 👍🏻

There's a water intrusion thread that covers 98% of the entry areas for the rear. From the time of brand new off the lot, my car has never been so free of cabin humidity, as it has been lately. I haven't even had the big box of Damprid sitting in there.
