Is this the bracket that is needed to do the svt rear brake conversion or is their more?
You can find the Brackets in The Boneyards. I found mine used in a Junkyard search locator and got them out of an 2003 SVT focus in Oklahoma for like $75 shipped. They were in great shape also i might add.

So does the part look like that just for the svt focus?

Would this work if I bought this just for the bracket?

Yes. The Focus ST170 is the Focus SVT. I forgot where I’ve read but other users have ran the brackets in your pic. I have a set too, just haven’t installed them. Online says 280mm for both models (SVT/ST180)

What about these brackets PumaSpeed is selling for the Focus ST170? Isn’t that just the Euro market SVT Focus? They note 280mm rotor fitment and I’ve seen the SVT rotors described on this forum as 278mm…
Our fronts are stock 278mm and rears 253mm.
The Focus ST170 is stock 300mm front and rears 280mm.
SVT is excactly the same rotor sizes as ST170: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/pwr-k4467/make/ford/model/focus/submodel/svt

But yes the brackets PumaSpeed sells are the excact ones you need for SVT/ST170 rear brake upgrade to use the 280mm rotors with stock calibers and pads.

One thing I’ve had a hard time finding a straight answer to is which spare tires fit with the SVT/ST170 rear brakes. Specifically:

- OEM “full size” spare
- Fiesta 15” alloy spare (from higher trims) - The SVT rear is similar size to our stock front, but is there enough spoke clearance with the rear style caliper?

The SVT/ST170 16” alloy spare should clearly fit if one can be found.

Someone mentioned needing to change the parking brake brackets along with this mod. Most info I've seen never mentioned having to alter the parking brake. Can anyone confirm? Have a set on the way. Probably going to have them blasted and powder coated or painted (want to match my red).

Plug and play. Mine have been on for a year now with no issues.
