what tire/tyre is the OP referring to that approximates to a tire we have here? Is it more similar to pilot super sports or the 4S?
Short of getting a custom tune to cut boost or torque in first and second, traction is going to be an issue for sure. Right now have Cobb ots tune, stage something or another. Not a huge fan of all that torque but appreciate added power.
I think I've done most parts that would increase traction. LSD, 200 tw tires (dunlop z3), TB bracing all around, spherical/solid & polyu bushings, upgraded tranny, rmm, passenger mount, a well sorted out meister coilover setup after some experimentation with stiffer springs and softer dampening. Still torque steer is pretty bad and 2nd gear difficult to use at track events. Hoping to get 235 or 245 width tires to fit later this year, but doubt that'll do much.
