I wanted to know what I can possibly do to make my gear box super stiff where there's barely any wiggle inbetween or no wiggle at all when switching between gear and in gear.

Please help

You can replace the bushes on the shifter and the transmission, but that might not make enough of a difference.

I’ve recently got a Coolerworx shifter and can assure you that is STIFF! There’s no play anywhere, the throw is incredibly short, and the centring spring takes a fair amount of force to actually select a gear.

Can you send me a video I would like to see it was the install easy? That’s how I want it STIFF like a rally car

Upgraded motor & transmission mounts stop the drivetrain from acting as a pendulum during braking, acceleration and cornering weight transfers.

Solid shifter bushings stiffen up the throw of the shift arm on top of the transmission and at the base of gear selector.

A 15-25% short shifter is also a nice touch.

I have found this setup to be sufficiently stiff for most performance driving, but I do see the added benefit of reduced reach with the CAE, Coolerworks or WK shifters, which will reduce shifting times. Though, I personally already shift too fast for the DMF with revhang turned off.
