Ok, so I keep hearing "my car is an ST-1 pack." "My car is an st-3 package."

How does one determine the package of their FiST?

I'd assume ST-1 is base and ST-3 is loaded and anything inbetween is an ST-2?

learn me so i can talk like a cool kid! lol

Depends where you live. In america most use the Cobb Stages as described on their website for determining what they are. In Europe(U.K. More specifically) you can order the Fiesta with dealer packages installing different thing which are listed as ST1, ST2, etc... these are typically mountune items installed and part of you car when you first pick it up.

Hope this clears it for you.

I was referring to the car option packages, not the "cobb uber awesome my car is stage eleventy" broski performance parts lingo.

The FoST guys seem to be more in on this than us, but I have heard it from some FiST owners regarding their cars.

The ST1-3 is a descriptor for option packages for the FoST in North America. The breakdown goes like this:

ST1 = Base everything
ST2 = partial leather Recaro seats, SYNC infotainment system w/o NAV
ST3 = full leather Recaro seats, SYNC infotainment system w/ NAV, Sony "premium" sound system w/ subwoofer, projector headlights with Xenon bulbs

*Note that it is possible to get the nav and sony sound system on the ST2 package as well I believe but it is included in the ST3 package

In Europe (and other markets?) it also applies to the FiST (no idea what the packages are though). Anyone referring to the ST1-3 on this forum most likely lives oversees.

This doesn't apply to NA FiST's. We basically have a few big ticket options and one package being the Recaro. With the FoST there are different trim levels, the same for the RS, RS1, RS2. This is how you order and pick the packages.

like stated before you could classify the Recaro package as ST2, ST1 is always the base. I honestly think it is due to the lack of options. Build a FoST and look at the differences then build a FiST, there is a lot of differences compared to the FiST. If you look at what's left after the Recaro option you would basically have Nav and a moonroof, well Nav is a given but a moonroof should always be a stand alone option, Ford likes to do the same with Nav on less expensive vehicles. If they went this route and tiered into ST packages you may have customer put off. They should of added HID's and then I could see it viable to group with Nav and create a ST3 pack.

^^^Some form of factory projector/LED/HID lighting, a factory installed mechanical LSD, the 'Focus Rally' wheels (or a decent looking 16x8), a suede covered steering wheel, and maybe some ACCURATE factory installed; boost, oil temp, water temp, and oil pressure gauges, are the only things they did not offer as options, which I WISH they did! [wink]
