Hi,
I have issue with my 2014 Fiesta ST. After couple minutes (like 5-10 minutes) of hard driving (I mean many repetitive pulls), boost can shut down almost completly. It happened in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear, always while floring it. I have oil temp gauge, and when it happenes, it isn't anywhere near being too hot. Stock coolant temp gauge is also showing normal temps. Car doesn't throw any check engine light, nor wrench light. Boost doesn't come back, until I shut down the engine, and after turning it back on, car has full power.
It's quite annoying, because I want to go on race track, and I can't do it if the car looses power after couple minutes of fast driving. When I drive normally to work, with only couple pulls to redline when I have free space on road, car runs totaly fine.
I bought code reader, and it throws P132B, which is 'Turbocharger boost control "A" performance'. Forscan suggests me that amplitude of signal is lower than minimum. So I guess that means that car is not getting enough boost?
I made two graphs with boost pressure to redline: https://i.imgur.com/EsrYTpf.png https://i.imgur.com/xBoXKqv.png , and I think that something is wrong. After 5000 RPM boost pressure drop significantly. After this tests, I tightened every hose, and connector with boost pressure I could find. Most of them were quite tight, hovewer Forge BOV adapter went quite loose. I thought it fixed the issue, but on graph there is no improvement in boost pressure: https://i.imgur.com/LYnhJuH.png
Do you guys have boost drop after 5k RPM? Maybe it's normal?
Do you have any ideas how can I resolve my problem?
About my car:
It's slightly modded. Things that are changed:
- Airtec Intercooler
- Forge inlet hose (with fully stock intake box)
- Forge BOV Adapter
- Magnaflow exhaust
- Tune similar to ST200 (200 hp with 217 hp overboost)
